I've just discovered your channel, loving what I've seen so far. I live in Wisbech and love a look in the charity shops, especially the cancer research in the retail park.
such a charming video. i've been loving all of your videos as a fellow thrifting-vintage/antique hunting enthusiasts. Tom and Terry you are both great to watch. love from Jeremie in the states!
Oh that’s so kind! We are super excited that people all over the world are following our fun adventure…thanks for watching and taking the time to get in touch
Love your videos, you're both so natural. Thrifting is my favourite thing to do and I enjoy joining you as well, it's really interesting and also relaxing to watch... doesn't get better than that. Thank you 🧡
It's such fun to see what you'll find and choose. With thrifting It's all chance, but spotting the things of value to you among the day's selection is what differentiates us. We each have our own aesthetic, which becomes clear when we look at our finds collectively.
I know, I am sure we are passing on things that others would buy in a flash!! That’s what makes us all different as you say…what was your favourite thrift?
@FINDSTheVintageStore There wasn't a lot there this time, but I liked the canister with the cork lid and the light colored lamp with the flowers you didn't buy. The pop-up book was interesting too. Love Willy, by the way. It's the best way to travek. Would like to see more of the inside.
Nice to hear from you…we have found some great things over the years in Sue Ryder over the bridge….not so much when we visited this time 😢 welcome along on our journey…thanks for commenting
Everything seems to come back round again! You just need to hold onto things long enough 😂 thanks for watching and commenting….more to come next week 😀
The black pottery vase (16 minutes) with the SP incised on the bottom in the red clay, is Stephen Pearce, Shanagarry pottery from Cork. Might be worth picking up if you see it again.
Thanks for the tip! Sometimes we watch back and wish we had picked certain things up!! Will watch out for it in the future. Thanks for watching and commenting Brad
Hi from south Africa.. Most of the glassware and pottery from before 80s was sold in south africa English made i. South Africa was the best buys ❤ two countries had good business l still buy second hand if l find it married in 70s still using what l bought
The mountain wood plate I got a set with asda when I was 20 (44 yrs ago) I think if you spent so much you could get one free.I got a 12 set dinner & tea plates, dishes, cups and saucers I still have some lol.x
I would have definitely bought the lamp. I worked in a She’ll garage in the early 70s and we used to give away those Ravenhead Siesta glasses away with petrol tokens, that would have been in 1971, just after my son was born! Yes, I was one of the many child brides, married at 16 🙄🙄🙄 Ouch!!! 😂😂😂
Would that be like Green Shield stamps? They looked unused and quite a cool design. We wonder now if the lamp was damaged and it didn’t show on camera. We thrifted so much we can’t remember 😂 thanks for watching and taking the time to comment
@@FINDSTheVintageStore We used to give Co-op stamps at the garage and you could use them in a Co-oP store or have some of the glassware and dinnerware we gave away in the garage itself.😊
Come to think of it, I think we had separate tokens that you collected for the glasses etc. and co-op stamps too. The glassware and dinnerware was a SHELL promotion at the time 🥰
I've just discovered your channel! As a reseller myself, I'm always interested in what others pick up to sell - best way to learn! Do you sell the vintage interior books or are they a personal collection?
Hi, glad you have found us….we will be selling all the items at vintage fairs over the summer…with maybe a few exceptions!! 😃 keep your eyes peeled for dates to be announced soon. We may also sell online too at some stage although we split our time between Uk and Spain so that side is a little tricky. Thanks for your comment and good luck with your reselling too
@@FINDSTheVintageStore Looking forward to sharing your adventures - I am in Liverpool - hit and miss here.... We have a motorhome too (Bruce Almighty) - who graces the world with his presence mainly weekends but hubby dislikes any kind of shopping so we couldn't do what you two do :( So I will watch your adventures on the sidelines - so glad youtube decided to suggest your channel xx
Aaah super interesting, relaxing watching you're vlogs too...bit lost , do u boys live in Spain n return to UK to buy for a shop? Fairly new, so I think I've missed the background info! Your van cool ( willy)...did I hear right? Lol....jazz🇬🇧😘x

Hi Rosemary, we thought the same but on further research it seems to be a Deva Bridge Ice Bucket which is a slightly deferent shape to their yoghurt maker. We have also seen lots of yoghurt makers on our travels…maybe a gadget that people didn’t use much? Thanks for watching and for your comment
I used to go up to Scotland two or three times a year and the charity shops were great. Now they are mostly crappy modern stuff with just the odd treasure.
It is pot luck isn’t it! Where’s your favourite charity shop spot now? We find it’s often the most unexpected places…Wisbech was great! Thanks for watching and for your comment
I've just discovered your channel, loving what I've seen so far. I live in Wisbech and love a look in the charity shops, especially the cancer research in the retail park.

@ In the 1970’s they were marketed by someone in the Stwmarket Suffolk area.
Maybe a bit like Tupperware? It’s amazing what you learn isn’t it
In qty agent being a very elderly lady I used said article regularly and was able to make wonderful yogurt
