Visions of Punjab Television program was started in April 1981 by Joginder Kalsi and Iqbal Mahal on Rogers Cable Brampton. The same year Mohd. Sadiq, Bibi Ranjit Kaur and Mehar Mittal were on North American show tour. Visions of Punjab taped some interviews and songs of all these artists.
We are sorry to lose the original taped material but we are able to salvage few items from broadcast tapes though it has some dropouts but being archival material we are presenting to our audience, hope viewers will like it. We present here a solo song “Lah Laye jo Mundri Meri”
Bibi Ranjit Kaur is well known for her duets with Mohd. Sadiq, noted Punjabi singer and politician. She did many Punjabi films as a playback singer. She has worked in few Punjabi movies as a supporting actress and as a playback singer as well. She has been active in the music industry for more than 40 years.
