Hearing Mitch for the first time was is like discovering that unicorns are not only real, but just as miraculous as the stories describe them. Back then l was experiencing a not-so-good point in my life, feeling cynical and burned but that amazing voice was all the proof of of wonder and magic I needed. Everyone in PTX is outstanding, and they're clearly meant to sing together, but for me Mitch's voice is extra special.
Let’s make a list of what Mitch can do, it’s gonna take years to finish lmao. In regards to his singing, he has a giant range let’s put it that way, he can go really high and still hit notes as low as possible for an average man which is impressive, he cheats when doing whistle notes but he does that so well it actually sounds like he’s singing them like that’s insane he’s able to put up the illusion, he can kinda imitate a guitar sound with just his mouth although I’ve heard someone do that better it’s still fucking impressive, he’s ALWAYS on pitch and has the best technique and control overall. Other than that, he is very witty ; he reacts really fast, he always makes a point, he’s a good impressionist, and has an encyclopedia of music in his head, he has an insane artistic intuition which makes him just know what works and how to express what he wants, he learns languages really fast imo and has taken sign language when he was in HS also he’s really good with accents, he learns things fast overall actually. He’s funny as hell without even trying, He can kinda dance a little bit even though Scott is more of dancer than him lmao, He looks gorgeous at all times and is fashionable without trying, He can play the piano, He can cook although he isn’t known to be a good one he can definitely cook really well, He’s a really good actor although he jokes around most of the time when doing it. What else can he do ? Or more likely what can he NOT do ? Lmao
Such a haunting voice. He is such a beautiful man. I pray he will find the love in his personal life that he deserves and can be free putting his light and sound into the world more often. Needs sparkle back in his beautiful eyes.
It's so lovely to see Mitch a year later, bringing his guy to events and positively glowing with happiness. They're mostly pretty quiet about their relationship, but seem well-suited to each other, and although not nearly as pda-forward as Scott and Mark (honestly, who could be?) their bond relationship seems thoughtful and tender, but at the same time they can laugh and be playful--there's even a picture of them playing Twister, with the game going about as well as it usually does. I so hope this man is "the one" and that they'll go on to share a wonderful lifetime together. Mitch deserves all the happiness in the world.
I just saw Far from the Madding Crowd (where they sing this song), and I searched for the lyrics because it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard... this was the 3rd video, and Mitch is my favorite singer of all time. It was meant to be.

It's not unc pretty common among gay men, tough, to use her, she and other traditionally feminine terms (sister, queen, girl. etc.), sometimes sarcastically, sometimes as an expressions of affection. Also, though Mitch presents as more masc these days, he still identifies as genderfluid and has been known to use both male and female pronouns, though less commonly now that he's older. In the end, we don't need to gate-keep matters of of gender or sexuality, just let people live as they will. I can't see that it's any of my business. since it doesn't affect me in the least.

I know that’s just transitioning from chest voice to head voice and back to the chest again, but when he sings it sound so natural and when I sing in it sounds airy and kind of weird I don’t know how to explain it, it’s not clean...Any suggestions?
