I’ve had my beloved Explorer 2 tent for 3 years now. The construction and good quality of the zippers, netting fabric, bungee cords, and the material is well appreciated. Thank you for not skimping on the design of your product. Cheers and happy 🏕 camping. 👍🏼🇺🇸
Got my Explorer 2 last week, and tried it out yesterday. Very easy to attach to the back of my 4Runner, and fits well. I'll use a few magnets to secure a few gaps. Very pleased with the quality and price. This tent will be nice for quick getaways.
Alison, ....By adding the Explorer 2 tent to your suv, you actually gain about 1 foot additional length to the bed of the vehicle because the tent extends beyond the rear bumper. In addition to added space, you gain ventilation (a big plus) and the advantage of not sleeping on the hard ground.
Thanks for your positive feedback! Although the video may be a bit long (8+ minutes), our approach was to explain assemby to the first time user. Actual assembly takes 5 minutes or less. Thanks again and enjoy your tent!
Works nicely with my Honda Element, which has a drop-down tailgate as well as a lift up tailgate, so I get the extended floor area of the tailgate plus the screened rear door. I use a couple of packing bags to cover the gaps around the edges of the tailgate. Set up time is about 5 minutes -- in the dark!
good video but I don't see much benefit from the product. I've seen other tents that are attached to the vehicle and give a full tent area. looks like a waste of money to me just for a screen.
How does it go with water running down the side of the vehicle above the rear wheels, does it run down towards the exhaust and fill the part of the tent that is under the rear of the vehicle?
No, attached to wheel, i have one, you can unattach it to move a little ways, i love mine, i have a hitch and box on the back so if i want i can have a table on the box, need to unhook and just leave it hanging to do that though, i needed to monkey with it a bit to have it fit tight enough for bugs, but you can either leave ot zipped at night and still have some air or leave it with just screen, he made it look hard, easy to get up when you get used to it
I have one and have used it a lot, feels roomier in van and there is some ventilation, i rather like it, makes van camping easier, i have a box on the back and can open up and have a table on the hitch, if leaving the next morning throw a lot in the box and just shoot out early with no hassle, thought of bug nets, etc, but by the time you fix a bug net that closes sides, bottom, top over open hatch you put a lot of time and money into it and doesn't close off if you want to have air with noone looking in at night
Thanks your comments. The tent has several advantages: extends the available sleeping area of the vehicle, provides ventilation in warm weather while protecting from insects and rain, and offers more comfortable sleeping by not being on the hard ground. Easy and quick setup also!
Justin C. Good question! Have not had "any" feedback where that is a problem. Maybe because the way the camper's vehicle is parked (where rain flows forward, toward the front of the vehicle), or by vehcile's roof design. Parking on slight downhill incline would avoid water entering this area at all.

Hey Guy hope you are still between the green grass and the blue skies 🤩
Thanks, made it much easier with this video!

Thorough, clear, comprehensive- thanx!🐩🐶
Thanks for the video..makes it so much easier to see how it is done. Good job.
Thanks for showing me how to set this up!
thank you for your video, its a good review
so where's the tent?

I agree . I was looking for a way to sleep an extra person
I want one! ...Thanks!
Interesting concept.
Always match your outfit to the tent you are assembling.

Will this fit a tacoma with a camper shell?
Thank you for the excellent, thorough video. Where is this location? It's absolutely beautiful, peaceful and looks like a nice place to visit.
What did you do about the gap created by the luggage rack?
What you mean is... a waterproof cover for the "Boot"
I thought the idea was to give the users more space, I mean, you can just lift the tailgate up and make a screen can't you ???
Those screens with magnets. To close when u walk thru I bet they would work
Who goes camping in an empty vehicle. ?????
Does this work with an older RAV4 or CR-V that opens from the side?
Unfortunately not...only for vehicles with a rear window that raises from the bac.
what for ?
Way too complicated for me. I'll stick to my shower curtains and bungees.
Love the idea.
Love mine
Hidden bonus if it gets too cold all you have to do is turn on your car 💀⚰️
interesting video you need to becloser to the mike as even tho my volume was on high could not hear a word you said
using the term "tent", i think is a bit of a stretch.........
Legal o vídeo mas não achei muitos benefícios não. Abraço. 🇧🇷
You make it more complicated than it is.
Hello sir can I drive with it attached

Who goes camping like this. 🤦 Basically you just put a bug net 😂

........you seem lika nice person with good intentions........but, 'think i'll pass on the alleged 'tent'........ much ado about nothin'.........:)
