I will show you how to make these delicious baked apples in a air fryer.
The air fryer that I'm using is a Cook's Essentials 5.3qt Digital Air Fryer.

Someone just gave me an air fryer and I want to try your recipe. I also went on Amazon and ordered an apple corer because I don't have one either. Thanks for the info, they look yummy.
I find that the best thing to use is a melon scooper for watermelon cantaloupe and honeydew that has two spoons one on each end better than an apple core

If you don't have an apple corer you can cut the apple in half, top to bottom, then use a spoon to scoop out just a little cup in the middle to get the seeds and tough bits of the core out. Then just put the cinnamon sugar and butter in the little area you scooped out and air fry (or bake) it just like that with the cut side up. With a small air fryer, you might not be able to fit 2 whole apples (4 halves) in at once. But if you are baking to serve several people at once, it can save a lot of time over trying to core apples with a paring knife. Other fun optional things to add with the cinnamon butter and sugar include graham cracker crumbs, nuts, raisins, etc.
I just use the small side of a melon baller to core apples. Makes a perfect cavity to hold the butter and brown sugar mixture, and is really easy too.

Great recipe, Kelly! I think my mom used to use one of those old fashioned potato peelers to core apples since it had a weird tip that would work for that type of thing....haven't seen one of those in years! Take care and have a great week.

Somehow over the years I have ended up with three apple corers and I don't core apples that much . Wish I could give ya one of em .
