    I watched a suitcase factory in Vietnam the other day. This Japanese factory is at another level including the cleanliness, quality and post product testing.

      Usually the quality of materials used differ. Processes are same. Where labour is cheep they use labour. In Japan labour is expensive so lots of automation.

    • @chrisx5127
      @chrisx5127 Рік тому +5

      Yes...but this factory would be similar to South Vietnam if it still existed. South Vietnam was already building vehicles back in the 1950's with Xe Da Lat. Obviously, Japan is still far ahead, but Vietnam would be a different country today if it wasn't for communism in the first place (both North and South).

    Comparing with another video which I watched on Vietnamese made luggages , I can say that Japanese made luggages are still much better . While in terms of luggages quality , they all seem to be made from similar materials , but there's other things to take note of. From Japan, the stitching seems better, thus producing stronger luggages , the care taken at each step by the workers ( no throwing of luggages around ) , the working conditions of the factory are so clean, there's even vacuuming at the end of the process. Not to forget that R and D help in improving the durability of these luggages. Vietnam , u still has a lot to catch up!!

      I think it's some kind of polycarbonate resin mix, idk if that's durable enough or not with very heavy luggage but if it's only for maybe 5-10 years of being used as normal travel luggage it should be fine, it's a cheaper mass produced model after all, not the high-end one
