Hina Kagiyama was just wandering when she heard laughter in the distance, deep within the forest at the foot of the Youkai Mountain. As she followed the sound, she stumbled upon Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae riding on a merry-go-round. Such a strange sight to have a ride like this in the middle of Gensokyo... but no matter, the three girls looked so happy and carefree as they spun round and round. But then, the ride suddenly slowed down and stopped. Hina approached the girls and asked what was wrong, and Reimu, with her exceptional incident-solving ability, explained that the mechanism in the center had broken.
Hina had an idea - Using her incredible spinning powers, she started to make it spin faster and faster, until it was working perfectly once again. Incredibly, she didn't even need to physically interact with the broken mechanism-- she needed only to will it! The girls looked on in amazement.
"Amazing, Hina-chan~~!!!!" Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae exclaimed in unison.
Hina felt a warm sense of pride in her ability. But what made her even happier instead of merely having the powers to spin bad luck away, she had been to attract happiness, and bring joy to her human friends. The girls climbed back onto the merry-go-round and started to spin around again, laughing and shouting as they went. Hina bode farewell and continued on her merry way, while feeling happy to have brought joy to these human girls, and live a harmonious life with them.

Thanks, Renn! This was pretty simple, I was trying to do the long strides over an octave but I kept hitting the wrong keys, so I settled with this lazier/safer version xD

There could be a small-scale carnival outside of the soccer game that you'll be hosting. It's a family friendly event, not going to be a soccer bloodbath right xD

Thank you!! I still have trouble drawing "straight bangs", you know, like Kaguya. Or what they call the "Japanese Princess" hairstyle. Hopefully future Hina will be better and cuter!! Her actual theme hasn't been covered yet (other than the stage themes) so there'll be new opportunities ^^

When you said up and down, that does remind me of the other spinning ride with hanging chairs. That shall be Hina Ride #2. I liked that ride a lot too but it's quite scary at height. Thank you for reminding me of that :p

Touhou provided me with many opportunities to learn music, drawing, and video editing... and also to be able to get to know more Touhou enjoyers! It is quite life changing, to be honest. However, most importantly without the encouragements from fellow enjoyers like you, I wouldn't have had the motivation to keep making Touhou music. So thanks again! ^^
I'm stuck with some Touhou arrangement ideas right now that got nowhere, so sometimes you'll see me doing non-Touhou stuff in attempt to get unstuck. Hopefully the day inspiration strikes will come!

The spinning merry-go-round seems to be the most suitable ride for Hina.
In a way, it may be what the girls of Gensokyo need the most. Fighting doesn't suit girls.
and I really like the music that will come out of the amusement park. I feel like I'm back in my childhood.
Perhaps whenever they fight, it's for a show, maybe...! Imagine it is a giant theater, where they had to "fight" to show us (the fans) entertainment. Like actors in a stage play. Behind the scenes, they are just having fun all the time. Everything's well! :) Carousels are so memorable. I hope every kid gets to experience them at least once, may the world become more fortunate.
Okay, this is very unique. I will ignore your description and just imagine that HIna runs a successful merry go round business somewhere between youkai mountain and human village. Also I'm glad it is Hina's stage theme and not her actual theme, that you have chosen. While I like both, I somehow always found her stage theme to have much more personality than her actual theme. And it is often a subject to unique cover to. For example I still can't shake the feeling that Miracle Hinacle sounds like a piece of The Sims OST.
Someone over here just reminded me of another spinning ride with the hanging chairs. I think Hina, in addition to the merry go round business, can actually run an amusement part. Spinning hanging chairs, spinning teacups (hey, Remilia would love it), and the like. Aya can just stand there and be like the automated camera thingy.
I too like her stage theme for it being more melodic, to the extent that I have the tendency to always refer to Dark Road as her character theme instead of the stage theme. Miracle Hinacle is a very happy unique arrangement, without the vocals it does sound like something that fits The Sims menu/soundtracks. I'm glad you brought this soundtrack up!! I already felt happier after listening to it, and of course it's none other than IOSYS again!
Yeah, I do mix up themes sometimes too with certain characters. If I had to go right off the bat, I'd say Meiling, Chen and Nitori also fall under he category of "stage theme more recognizable than character theme" for me.
Hard agree! Nitori especially... personally for her stage theme I always felt like Reimu and Sanae own the theme as they are somewhat closer to the deities in Gensokyo rather than Nitori herself LOL. But it's all because of the title of the track, "The Gensokyo the Gods Loved". It painted a divine/lore-rich imagery, rather than something related to a Kappa engineer like Nitori.

Basically hina became an engine for the carousel, I just hope it doesn't spin too fast, although, what other games will there be in the Gensokyo circus?, will Kogasa's scare house be there? Haha greetings bit
Hehe yeah! Carousel is one, then the spinning one with the hanging chairs, spinning teacups, spinning aeroplane rides (maybe flying brooms)... Kogasa would be physically scary with her umbrella, and the haunted house will be made stronger with the actual ghosts and phantoms. I'm starting to think that a Gensokyo amusement park might be a good idea...
