This video is a helpful summary but I wanted to clear up a statement made by the host regarding the $20,000 bonus. If you choose to receive the bonus, you do not owe "4 additional years" as she said. What she should have said is this: if you receive a 3 year HPSP scholarship, by accepting the bonus you agree to serve on active duty for *4 years total*. So you owe 1 more year of active duty for getting the bonus. If you earn a 4 year scholarship then you dont owe any additional time. You would still owe the military 4 total years of active duty. I found what she said confusing when I applied to HPSP and it is quite misleading. I hope this helps any future applicants. Best of luck!
@Viking Texan So you're telling me the fact that the Army accepts people of all races, sexualities, and genders is a bad thing? Personally, I'm not LGBTQ+, and nor do I agree with it. But I respect how other people feel and the fact our military accepts those people and encourages their enlistment the same as anyone else is a good thing.

Why does it look like those doctors are reading a script lol
For applying to HPSP you can’t be just a resident ( with Green Card) of the USA?
Can Nigerian students be given the scholarship? I really want to be a US Army doctor
Is this offered to Physician Assistant school?
I believe so. Look on the site. They cover a variety of medical schools in different areas. I’m enlisted in the Navy and looking into it.
Yes it is

Don’t do it, go 11b Option 40 or bust there’s no point to the Army if you’re not gonna do it right.
Is it really that bad? This is basically an advertisement
What’s so bad about it? I attended three different HPSP meetings and it sounds great. What’s 11b?
The Army is a Woke tool of 🇨🇳....they're not gonna help us when they come.
@@jakesanders269 Yeah, so when China or Russia start a war you're going to go fight them on your own?
