This is a quick guide on the best foods to eat in Lake Tahoe; I spent 4.5 hours each day skiing and snowboarding at Heavenly Resort over the weekend and would skip lunch those days. Loved the variety and I need to try that cheese pasta and lox bagel! My friends and I always get groceries and cook together whenever we go to Tahoe but next time I want to try a few of these places! Also your lashes 😍

There's a really popular pizza spot in South Tahoe called Base Camp Pizza right at the base of Heavenly. I didn't get to go but it has thousands of reviews on Yelp.
So different from other UA-cam videos I've seen about the food in that area. Most stick to the mainstream, trendy and more expensive places. It's nice to see something different. I like that you showed a restaurant recommended by a local, those are usually the best spots.

I did some research on restaurants before I went to Lake Tahoe. However turns out I didn't have as many opportunities to go out to eat as I would have hoped. So, I felt others traveling to Lake Tahoe may have a similar itinerary as me (busy with snow sports or summer activities all day). I hope this helps you in case you visit South Lake Tahoe!
@@StephEatsnTravels Actually, I'm planning on going at the start of June and staying in a B&B near Tahoe city, but my boyfriend really wants to drive all around the lake which means I'll have plenty of chances to influence him on what to eat for the day. 😉

So, spring water makes food taste better. This actually makes sense as espresso experts would always suggest mineral water over purified. Pad Thai is my go-to Thai food, usually with shrimp and/or chicken

I'm so glad they're taking out that Kmart and I hope they don't put anything major big box in there because lake Tahoe is not a shopping hub it is a place to go skiing come up go you know stay in a cheap motel rest whatever get some out of the heat and be somewhere fresh air beautiful not shopping if you want to go shopping go to Reno Carson City or Jackson
