"The guy with the toolbox vs the guy with the screwdriver" Roy is a legend..!
then the follow up question "why was he so dominant" and roy just explained that whole thing
Roy Jones Jr. , you did a great job of analyzing the black fighters.
Well to be fair, Crawford has a whole warehouse with a custom workshop complete with state of the art machines as well as antique vintage hand tools. Top it all off with the fact that Bud is a master craftsman vs an apprentice.
I said the same
@@samueldavis5895😂😂.
The tool box analogy was the best explanation to date.
Bad reporting/interviewing from Marcos. It’s not difficult to recognise immediately that Inoue is undefeated
Inoue is undefeated 😂
M shocked the interview didn't say nothing
Exactly that ish blew me he let that slide. Pushing the narrative. Give Inoue is respect too. #2 P4P IS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF AND NO ONE BEATS THE MONSTER from 122lbs -130lbs
@@Smoothyang I was shocked too
@@Smoothyangyea i was surprised he let it slide...
Inoue ain’t lost a fight somebody let Roy know idk why fight hype would let him say that with out correcting him
Exactly and all these cucks in the chat ain't calling it out
I can listen to Roy talking boxing all day
I wish someone showed Errol this video.. it's all facts
@@zaypierson6255 you fools were screaming resume. Now its all true. Spence should know this stuff already.
Inoue didn't lose to Donaire. I agree that Bud is p4p number 1 but why say Inoue lost when he didn't. He was tested, he still won though and the rematch... Isn't that what great fighters do? Inoue is a close 2nd. Both are generational talents.
Exactly don't know wtf he smoking .
Crawford ain't p4p number 1 inoue is
he probably felt like inoue lost the first fight against donaire even though inoue got the win. kind of like most poeple feel like castillo, pacquiao, and maidana beat floyd but floyd got tthe win.
Inoue isn't on Buds level. He never showed many different tools. Nonito broke his orbital while Bud never had a close fight. U can't compare the 2
@@pdubhnic Inoue never had a close fight. He dominate even with a broken orbital and nose.
The car wreck wasn’t brought up when so many people predicted that Spence was just gonna run over Crawford. Spence got dominated because he didn’t make any adjustments for the fight and fought the way he’s been fighting for years before the accident.
Brain damage is progressive
Thank you. Fought 2 championship fights after the accident, won and was thought that he would dominate Crawford. Now he lost and it’s ‘because the accident’ among other excuses. Give me a break! He fought no different against Porter or either Garcia’s than he did against Bud. He’s always been basic. He’s been a better Danny Garcia with a jab. He just went up against a more complete fighter. At 154 the outcome won’t change. In fact it’ll be worse.
Go look at Roy interviews before the fight he been saying part of the reason he’s picking bud is because what EJ been through outside the ring and EJ said that’s y he think Vegas had him the underdog
@@rambojean4916 Yep, Roy's been saying it for a long while now (other people too). Bud would have beat Spence regardless. But I do think all the crashes and injuries have definitely diminished Spence.
I had a bad wreck that wasn't nearly as bad as his.
It's been 12 years, but my body's never been right since then. And I'm not putting my body through pain and punishment like a boxer would.
He didn’t look 100 percent during the fight. Terrence is a great fighter. No one is disputing that. However, Errol was not himself fully.
Why didnt he correct Roy on Inoue. He had a very competitive fight of the year candidate fight with Donaire in fight 1 but did win the fight.
Inoue lost from roy Jones mouth? Shane mosley said errol spence and crawford sparred before there fight smh these guys took too many punches to the head
Inoue lost to Donaire? Why didn’t Marcos correct him? That was inaccurate to say the least.
He should’ve corrected “Inoue stopped donaire in 11th round”
@@user-bbuzzi Lee
This shows that Roy don't know what he's talking about.
Stopped him in the 11th in their first fight. And the second in their second fight. Inoue's growth was insane after that first fight. It's wild the way boxers keep sleeping on him the same way they were sleeping on Crawford this entire time.
@@Masutora Godamnit that is so TRUE!!!
Shit sounds like Roy had a car crash, Inoue definitely didn't lose to Donaire, the Monster is still undefeated.
I still have Crawford as #1 p4p
I got Inoue #2 but he can pass Bud depending on how these next 18 months go and I been rocking with Bud since Gamboa so I know he has been consistent. Monster is a special fighter himself but I'll always have a Bud bias honestly
@@michaelwagner1105no he cant even if he become undisputed again bud beat top 5 p4p until inoue do the same he stay n2
Inoue is in my top ten at #2. I like mr jones but nah. Inoue didnt loose to donaire. What the hell
Inoue...is...definitely unbeaten. Funny that the journalist didn't correct him.
Crawford has too many tools to beat Spence. Crawford is 36 and has said he doesn’t have long left before he retires. I really don’t want him to waste a fight on somebody he’s already smoked and likely will again. Ennis and Charlo should be his next two fights but Spence has the rematch clause. If that rematch happens it’s not going to end well for Spence I don’t care if it’s at 154, that boy is getting his soul taken AGAIN
Yup after the car crash Spence was never the same
Even before that car wreck he wouldn't of beat him wtf ppl talking about... he beat he so many ways..
@@NoBoxingNoLife-qh2gv I like Spence too. He’s a solid individual and a GREAT fighter. He just ran into someone on a higher level. It happens
why do you casual fans keep bringing ennis up... ennis will not even beat errol spence.. Yall are such dickriders.. you read what one causal boots fan says then jumps with it.. boots will get destroyed by crawford and thej everyone will say , oh boots wasn't ready, the first world champion he ever fought was terrence crawford
@@phillygaming215before & after he was beating him. Bud style is all wrong for Spence. Even at 100% Spence, 100% Bud beat him everytime. Ppl need to just accept this.
All this talk about the car accident and Spence's neurological state are nothing but excuses. Spence looked plenty good taking apart Garcia and Ugas after the accident. It's time to give Bud his props.
I just saw a video of Spence saying he feels he is a better fighter now during the press conference with Danny Garcia
That's exactly what I thought. Just didn't feel like typing it 😂😂. Thanks
Damn😊
100% accurate
Against Ugas he got hit a lot it was a terrible fight/performance for spence. You can tell Ugas was hurting him in that fight if he couldn’t take Ugas’s pressure they was no point taking the Crawford fight and everyone don’t wanna admit it because they don’t wanna take away from Crawford which is understandable and the truth is at the end of the day it’s spences fault if the car crash affected him no one told him to be speeding and wasn’t he drunk as well
I think Spence has been through enough in this lifetime. Doesn't need to potentially deal with more physical trauma. I wouldn't be upset if he hangs his gloves.
He's done more than most ever will.
You mean PBC has done more, they the 1's pushing him
@@DANIEL_eltraviesoErrol’s the one who fights so that’s what matters
Spence only lost one match…. Calm down
Bud was shot in the back of the head there's no excuse
@@nftfgenetix6694its not an excuse wtf clown the body can only take so much trauma
Inoue never lost to donaire .
Roy jones you losing it .
What did he say wrong about the bud vs Spence fight though? Let's stay on point
Roy said Inoue lost to Donaire the first time, which is incorrect. Inoue scored a knockdown & won an 8 - 4, 7 - 5, type of fight.
& the interviewer didn't correct him on that?
Crawford might edge Inoue for P4P, because 2 divisional undisputed trumps one-time undisputed - even though Inoue won titles in 4 divisions to Crawford's 3.
But how about a bit of accuracy when discussing foreign fighters?
Amazing commentary❤..
So he believes Donaire won the first fight with Inoue?
Wasn’t nobody saying shit when he fought Garcia or Ugas and it seems that everybody forgot he had 3 belts at 147 lbs??
Great commentary!
Great interview!!! 👑👑👑 9:41
Inoue did beat Donaire in a tough fight. Fought seven rounds with a broken eye socket, but Bud is still better than him.
It’s crazy how now ppl think Spence is all of a sudden trash after losing to Bud but Spence dominated the whole welterweight division for 8 years straight wit 3 belts n no tune ups 🤣 all the greats lost way worst, so if Crawford gets smoked his next fight n Spence beats the winner of that fight is Crawford then trash to 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️y’all boxing fans sick.
Fair point but ive never seen a one sided title fight like that @ that weight HW is different if thats what youwere refering too
Not trash but definitely on the down hill now with that beating.
Bud too complete and good to get smoked
Facts I wonder if they said this about sugar ray leonard back then when he first loss to Duran y’all can’t write someone off based off one loss this is why the best don’t fight the best that often cause these fake ass boxing fans
Spence is still the 2nd best welterweight in the world. But Sugar Ray didn't get dominated like that by Duran either.
Inoue never lost 😠
Great Analysis
Great analysis.
“ When i stop him y’all gon say he was too weak, and he stayed at 147 too long”
Well said!
1:53 Screwdriver analogy was on point
Real assessment 👏🏽
Roy “you understand me” Jones 😭🐐
Lol
I mean the guy kept asking he same question s if he didn't hear Roy the first time.
Well said
Now that makes sense ❤
I have bud no.1 but to say no way inoue can overtake the spot soon is dismissing and disrespectful. Inoue never lost, Roy. Inoue defeated 18 world champs in 25 fights 22kos... He will become undisputed in his 2nd weightclass probably by years end. Donaire has been top 5 p4p in his career and beat young guys in the wbss to make it to the finals. So no excuse for being old. Vs Inoue 1 was the old lions last hoorah. Donaire even won a belt after inoue 1 also. Who in 126 can u say outright beats Inoue? Because no one in 122 can. He just whooped the top dog in Scooter at 122.
well as long as crawford is boxing, i can't see anyone topping that spot. Inoue is a freak athlete, but i don;t think he is defensively blessed. I wan't to see how inou performs against someone who can match his speed and is technical. I hope he moves up in weight and takes on the top dogs.
Figaroua Carrington
Great analogy from one of the best to ever lace up a pair of gloves.
Hearing the insights from a boxing legend hits different
Inoue, Crawford, Spence, and Fulton were all undefeated. And two of these men were overwhelmingly victorious.
fulton was never p4p though
@@aMenace2S He is underrated because he is a lightweight and because of his fighting style, but the opponents Fulton has beaten and his track record would be right at home in the P4P rankings.
@@free4667 he aint a lightweight thats 135. & He was never listed amongst the top p4p on any list . Thats the facts
@@aMenace2S Oh, sorry. I tried to use the translation to write light weight and it turned out to be 135.
I meant light weight, lower class.
P4P is like a popularity ranking. In the lower weight class, you have to make a sensational KO like Inoue to be properly rated. I think the fact that Inoue's value has risen even more to the point where he can compete with Crawford for the top spot means that Fulton had the ability to be more highly regarded.
But I agree with you. Compared to Spence, Fulton is naturally less prestigious.
That tool box metaphor was and is a perfect way to describe the skill level. Just for dude to ask right after, what was difference in the fight?
Great analogy from RJJ (The screwdriver vs The Tool Box ) 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Met Roy and what a great humble guy. One of the best ever for sure
Very good assessment by Roy!!!
Good analogies
Back in the day I was a big Roy Jones, listening to his commentary after dismissing him before the Spence Crawford fight I must say when someone has done a thing at the highest level you have to pay homage, the man knows his stuff. Still got Spence, I'm hearing you now Jones still my guy and Big ups to Crawford you're a real one
Loved that comparison Roy❤
Well done Roy, the only one to talk sense on the whole situation
Crawford is top 10-15 already. If he becomes 3x undisputed he's top 5 of all time. Feel blessed to have witnessed Floyd Mayweather Jr. & Terence Crawford in my lifetime 💯
The runner Mayweather who never faught any prime fighters
Mayweather??Naah! He was good but Bud is elite. Floyd was cherry picking washed up opponents
Mayweather is the best boxer, BUSINESS-WISE but not in terms of legacy.
@@NoBoxingNoLife-qh2gv🤡
@@kipwonder2233Maybe you're crazy. Floyd was never undisputed and Bud is more capable than Mayweather was. Bud will fight and beat anyone right now, which is what makes him so great. Fighters had to make major concessions and come in at a disadvantage just to fight Floyd. It's also worth noting that most his later fights went to decisions and at least one fight had a very controversial decision because everyone thought Floyd lost. I like Floyd. He was a good fighter and he's a smart business man, but Bud is a more capable fighter than Mayweather was
You have to correct him when he makes a mistake like saying Inoue lost, come on man
Who cares about the Japanese except white people.
Roy looked like he was sleeping in the beginning 😂😂
Some good points
Great Roy Great he loves both fighters 👏 ❤ 👍 👌....
I've watched him talk Servival times about it....
He which spence would've listen 2 him....
N i was going 4 spence....
But Great win bud....
They both said be4 the fight who ever wins deserves it.... gotta respect that alone....
Great example Roy! That’s why you are the best to me.
I like that toolbox analysis and it made sense.
Inoue lost to Donaire? Or more like Donaire gave him a good fight? And then Inoue cleaned him up in the 2nd fight
A passed his prime Donaire*
Yeah...in Roy's mind, Inoue struggled with Donaire so from his perspective he doesn't think he "beat him" but simply won on points....kinda like Apollo Creed said on Rocky.."I won, but I didn't beat him"
@@KingGeorge23 don’t mean he lost to him
He just told you the answer to your question!
Spence was good. Very good. Spence should be given credit due for absolutely going out on his shield.
The problem is that Crawford was absolute perfection! It was one of the single greatest boxing performances I've ever seen. Crawford went to a level above levels. I don't think anyone on earth was going to beat Crawford on that night.
People dont realize how talented bud is man.
@@firellparker7463 in fairness he is considered one of the greatest p4p in boxing
I thinks it’s so funny when Roy Jones keeps reiterating “Being thrown from a car in excess of 120 mph”😂😂😂 ok man I get it😂
who drives 120 mph without a seat belt🤔 he's lucky 2 b alive race car drivers drive 200 mph they wear seat belts 🤔
Terrence Crawford has been shot in the head… So Spence’s accident has no bearing in the fight.
This is a ridiculous comment. That shooting did not do as much physical damage to Crawford as the car accident did to spence.
It was a flesh wound luckily for him so it didnt really affect him the way the car wreck affected Errol, its two different thing but im not sure if it affected Errol enough to use it as an excuse for his performance I think he was more drained of anything tho. Bud is the better boxer by far tho
@@0Shane13 How do you know!?? you got the medical records or just talking out of your ass?
Your logic is dumb af. Crawford fought 2 months after getting shot. It didn’t affect him in any way after the wound healed. Spence was launched out a car going 100 mph. Broken face, bones, missing teeth, fractures all over his body and you think it’s the same?
No he didn’t. That’s a misconception. It happened almost 20 years ago and a bullet fragment hit his head he never actually got shot in the head.
Excellent analysis by Roy
Roy KNOWS boxing! Great assessment
Roy was spot on with his comments 💪🏽
Best said Roy
Inoue lost to Donaire? Come on Roy...!! You're biased towards an American fighter, simple.😅
The wreck had nothing to do with Spence getting beat‼️
I beg to differ. Bud has been touched up by much lesser opponents than Spence. No way in hell is Crawford that much better than Spence. Spence is obviously compromised‼️
Spence destroyed Danny and Ugas after the accident. Derrick James and everyone else clearly thought he was capable of beating Crawford. Clearly they didnt have another gamplan with Crawford.
@@GS-mh6ubhe is. And he proved it Saturday. Y’all just tryna cope with that reality.
@@Manymen5what tf does that have to do with the accident itself 🤦
@@Manymen5 Danny and Ugas are not on Crawford's level in terms of skills, talent and power. They were good champions that were passed their prime.
I don' t know if the accident took a toll on Spence's body which could've affected him against a prime opponent like Crawford but accident or no accident, Crawford is too much for Spence and would beat any version of Spence.
Come on Fight Hub, the Inoue vs. Donaire fight 1 was Fight of the Year but Donaire lost by UD.
Great toolbox analogy
Everytime Roy talks, he makes himself look dumb to dumber 😂
Roy's analysis is legendary
Good tool box analogy
Nice words from Roy Jones!
Who did roy jones fight 😮 i remember those Tarver knock 😳 outs

Great analogy by RJJ pretty much sums up the difference between Bud and Spence. Spence needs some more home improvement 😭
What happened to resume.
I love Roy’s analogy on explaining the difference between the two fighters. Perfectly said!!💯
He is wrong
@@shunsuke8321 why is he wrong about?
He literally stole it from Coach GregHatchet
at least some peeps in boxing have the decency to say this to Errol. not only did Errol’s team not seem to have a plan they didn’t protect him when he was getting battered
Shalom Shalawam... Aye... Hall of Famers, KNOW what they're talking about... I love listening Greets Man seriously... They NEVER fail at TEACHING you how it is...✊🏿🤝🏿👍🏿💪🏿
He just told him why Crawford was so dominant against Spence, and dude turns around and immediately asks the same question. -- it's because Crawford has more than one way to win or get the job done. Spence uses only 1 way
No he said hes mastered using other tools
Roy is always accurate. 100% on about Crawford. He's the most balanced fighter I have ever seen
How can Roy be always accurate when he was clearly wrong about Inoue losing to Donaire?
@@omarx2449 I'm mean with boxing analysis
After he was shaking no and saying he has a lost compare to 0 with crawford everything he said goes out the window haha. Was waiting for the interviewer to say something but didnt
Facts
Errol needs to focus on 1,2 and 1,2,3 punch combinations . He needs to get his hands quicker and Jab better.
Favorite part, "See that's what I like about Bud, he reminds me of Roy!" RJJ still one of my goats and all-time favorite boxers.
Unfortinately Spence is a no tune-up kind of dude and I don’t see him changing or humbling himself to get a tune-up.
Yeah Inoue is a great fighter, he just needs perhaps 3 more fights to highlight his greatness
literally 75% of what roy says is demonstrably wrong.
Roy's boxing IQ is off the charts !
Lost respect to the interviewer for not correcting Roy Jones on Inoue losing… interviewer just sat there riding the wave..
Roy was wrong with one thing, and I don't know where he got this from! Enoye did not loose to Donaire.Donaire pit ip a great fight the first time they met but Enoye beat him twice.
Enoye😅 Inoue😊
Crawford adjusts his approach, without loosing his style.
The weight and dehydration was the 2 major factors. You have to fight at a weight you’re comfortable at,otherwise you’re not going to have the power nor speed to be at your best. Fighting at 60% when the opponent is at 90% they will certainly have the advantage. Great analysis Roy…
Bud gotta fight Tim Tszyu for that WBO at 154 and that’ll easily give him global appeal
Inoue is undefeated. Never lost to Nonito. However, Bud is #1 P4P boxer in the 🌎!!!!
The Breidis Prescott fight was the first time I saw Bud fight as well, and I knew he was different because if memory serves me correctly I think Prescott was the first one to knock Amir Khan out.
Inoue never lost a fight 😂😂😂
they say bud a switcher but he aint switched the whole fight, took my boy spence to the bathtub and wash him. but let see if the win was a fluke when they run it back at 154 though 😂😅
