this video got me through my build! I have a tele bridge p90 neck, with the exact same style control panel as I didn't have room on the body for a traditional tele panel. thank you so much for posting this!
Beautiful guitar! You made a few unusual choices in your build, so it would be really interesting to hear what it sounds like now that it's finished. Will you be putting up a sound demonstration of it?
At the end of the video, I was thinking, "String it up! Let's hear what it sounds like!" Then I realized, "Oh…no tuners and no *bridge*." So close yet so far. lol!
Sounds great. I have one purely subjective quibble; the shiny stainless screws in the Ironwood pickup rings are a little too contrast-y. The bridge pickup would "pop" better against the wood if you could find darker screws, maybe oil rubbed bronze.

I know 100% nothing about this wood stuff I just like watching and like supporting smaller youtubers . Hope you get up to 10k this year.
Man think you sooo much for this video. I built my first guitar got a signal from my pickups finally. Very much appreciated.

Thanks for this I been searching for this I'm doing a strat with tele' neck and gutts but I prefer a toggle instead of the blade selector.
Where's the video of the completed guitar?
Will we ever see you or someone play the guitar 😔 ??
How would the wiring be like if I did two p90s?
I do paint furniture and chalk paint is the way to go you should try it , great time with great profit
So? where is the final stage :/ ?
So you mounted the p90 directly into the wood with the two screws (no base plate?)
Your wiring diagram shows a wire going from the centre tap of the toggle to the volume pot why didn't you add this wire?
I was just gonna post the same thing. He didn't wire the center pole on toggle switch.
curly maple? is that a veneer or solid wood (the guitar body )? also, is that iron wood or black walnut ? looks awesome
I bet it is heavy luke. Like a les paul
Do you still have this wiring diagram? The link is now dead.
why does your schematic diagram show two 3 way switches?
From what I saw, you discarded half of the humbucker. Why use an HB? You just made it a single coil by grounding the other half.
Do you ever make guitar parts and bodies to sell? I need a Fender Jaguar body cut so I can do a build.
can anyone tell me where to find a wiring diagram, replacing 3 way blade switch standard tele config, to a 3 way import toggle w same set up.?
Where’s the final video?
i'd go white wood for knobs , maple if u got it
Id go curly maple
it would have been nice if you drew up a wiring diagram of the work you just did the camera shot is NO BUENO!
Want to hear it
Can anyone educate me on the difference between, TruOil, Danish Oil and Tung Oil?
a Google search will give you in-depth answers to your question
who cares what it looks like , can anyone say or tell how it sounds, or rocks ?
