Great video as usual Gary. The second I saw this new release, I knew I was going to get it. I chose to go with the 3s 450mah. batteries. All the way back, it balances perfectly. When the wind picks up, just move it forwards. Here in Las Vegas, we're always dealing with the wind. The power set up has more than enough power to throw the little additional weight around. So for those of you out there who fly in windy conditions, the 450mah really is your friend. Incredible, versatile, UMX. No regrets.
I had a choice between the umx timb-x or the turbo timber, the batteries that I have chosen it for me, Turbo is the winner. Love that hat, Gary! I'm getting sold on E-fright, they seem to have the most reliable Rc birds of all time.

Maidened mine yesterday and it was really nice flying for a Umx. Only thing is I need to adjust the linkage on rudder elevator for more throws to be truly 3d capable. Nice flying 👍

Don't forget to check ebay for out of stock planes. There's usually a few left after they go out of stock on horizons website. They don't last long tho

Only plane I ever pre ordered, they haven't arrived yet here in Europe, but I hope I get mine soon.
One of the first things I'll do will be to open it up and add lights to make it a UMX NTX.

Nice flying! Mine should be here tomorrow 😁😁. Be careful flying umx around those birds. I had 2 hawks hunting my umx Pitts on Saturday. On 3s I had just enough power to outrun them. 🛩🕊🕹

Having trouble setting up my flaperons not working do flaperons work it safe mode also

"a little bit touchy"? Looked downright twitchy/spastic out of SAFE. Personally, I'd want to see a review with some EXPO dialed in before I put my money down on this model.

I hate my timber x. It’s so dang tail heavy and flys like crap
Mine flew almost exactly like the regular size Timber X. I was hoping it was a little better.
