- Today on HamRadioComms I do a detailed review of this excellent Power/SWR meter.
This meter will work with radios that are in the 140 - 525 Mhz frequency range. - Наука та технологія
thanks! Full refresh of a forgotten art: antenna maintenance :)
TY for all the info👍
I just received mine (SX-600)
I love the classic design.
Mainly bought it for my UHF repeater antenna.
Will also use on my CB antenna in future when the installation is done.
I have the sx600 and like you, I find it to be all that I need.
Great review very helpful thank you 🙂👍
Thank you! 🙂
Hi, if the SX-400 meter will work with radios that are in the 140 - 525 Mhz frequency range, so it will not work for the air band with a frequency range of 118 Mhz - 137 Mhz ? Also, on the 13.8v DC power of the unit, would the center point of the plug be positive? Thanks and hope to hear from you soon.
Hi Jack, correct won’t work for the air band, I’m not sure what SWR wattmeter works for those frequencies. Yes positive for the center pin.
@@hamradiocomms I have a Sharman SWR-006 meter. It looks exactly the same as yours with the exception of it being full coverage with dual input and output. Sensor 1 covers 1.8-160mhz, sensor2 covers 140-525mhz. So Airband, 2m, 70cm and UHF CB are all covered. The Diamond Brand needed for the same coverage is the SX-600
Hello,
The blue button's use??
Hi., the blue button switches between Average and PEP readings.
Cut to the chase, let's see it operate, put some power into it.
Is it actually accurate? reverse the connections on the back and see if it still reads the same...
