It's amazing how these simple people eat in the same pot or share their food without any difficulty. That shows their love and respect for one another. Amazing culture! I love the sand painting skills, it's beautiful. I am a painter, myself and I am a self taught painter and can appreciate these amazing landscapes.
AMAZINGLY STUNNING, GREAT PEOPLE & LIVING CHOICES, REMARKABLY UNFORGETTABLE......THANK YOU SOMUCH,& MAY THOSE PEOPLES OF THE DESERT BE GUIDED & BLESSED !!!!
I love to see how the sun hides by the mountain at sunset. I love the desert. It's so enchanting and mysterious. The colors of the sand, the beduin's dressing. Everything about the desert is beautiful ❤️😍
Same, here. I miss Sáhara so so much!!!!! And my berber boyfriend, who took me there for several weeks...We heard the Wild Tuareqs drumming& singing also, one night, in Merzouga! The Free People! That was magical!!!!! How I wish I had married him. But coming to Europe, they scared me so! So I told him I could not marry him... and I regret so much. But now it's too late. He has married a maroccan woman. And I live alone.. in Europe.
@@sisselhansen3915 Hello! I'm planning to go to Merzouga in the Sahara Desert in November with friends. Did you see tuaregs? I want to visit them and learn about their life style. Greetings!
Egypt is truly a magical place. And I'm so glad that Petra had the opportunity to discover just a little bit of its beauty and majesty. I think if more westerners had the opportunity to do something like what Petra got the chance to do here we could begin to see that our fellow man treasures many of the same things we do. I love you and miss you so much Egypt!
Such an beautiful, very teaching and grounded video! Chapeau to these desert people, who are so respectful for the Sahara, their camels, their goods and eating together as one big family! May Allah/Gods Holy Blessings rains upon theme!!!!!! And their beloved Sahara, Camels and their Beloved Obes🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video. Yes, I have been to Siwa and Dakhla. And in the ruins of Dakhla I did meet Bosra and his family. They were very hospitable and invited me for lunch. I also met Badr in Farafra oasis and his sand paintings are very impressive.
OK, one question I can't help but ask because I have issues with this human activity - where does a person in desert like this pee? No privacy anywhere. How often do they stop for breaks for this? (OK, so more than one question). I'd be in a whole of hurt without frequent stops, so I guess I'll never go on a desert trip like this. Thanks for taking us along.
There's privacy like behind the dunes or in deep place around. Also you don't find many humans in desert too so not an issue. Also you pee much less in desert due to the temperature.

Flat, aggressively tone deaf narration style and horrid soundtrack with obnoxious rock songs & John Teschesque motif smatterings detract from an otherwise decent desert flick.

An old joke: bureaucrats took over the Sahara; in 2 years they declared a shortage of sand.

In Arabic, Sahara means desert. So calling it the Sahara desert is redundant.
