@1:31:31 WOW! What a fantastic tradition that highlights and focuses on the strong social bonds of friendship between Omani from different parts of the country!!! So often and in so many places, when so many gather together there is a great emphasis on fierce competition which often tends to foster animosity and conflict between the different tribes. What a marvelous and unique culture that is a role model in the region showing the benefits & advantages of shifting focus to unity & cooperation!!!
Wow!! This video makes for such enjoyable & interesting viewing. Absolutely amazing! I've always loved Oman. So very beautiful & the amazing architecture, it's people, culture & landscapes/scenery are all amazing. Thank you for sharing. Peace✌
What makes Oman great is how their government is working constantly to preserve their old culture and nature. I wish the rest of the Arabian gulf countries would follow the same step I'm from Kuwait and it's the total opposite. A country stuck between an outdated past and a confused future. We have no identity
I am spellbound by the beauty of this place and these customs and these people and everything about it has fascinated me I don't even know what to say anymore I'm lost for words...... So unexpected so beautiful so gorgeous and handsome people and the beauty of the country I never expected any of these things..... I'm just spellbound at what I just saw
Watching from Calgary, Canada. Modern Oman is a glowing shining example of harmonious blending of two cultures, the old & the new. I was listening your documentary, better to say enjoying it. Splendidly explained, eloquent is your narratives. But one thing, for which I was eagerly yearning to hear from you is: Oman's state policy toward the non- musli ms, other types muslims those who are different from the mainstream muslims in Oman, like Ahmadiyya muslims. In Oman are they allowed to observe their own way of worshipping? In K. S. Arabia Ahmadiyya muslims and their way of worshipping nothing is allowed. If Oman is different, please let's know how much it is, and in which way. Do you practice on Quranic principle: There should be no compulsion on the matter of Religion, mentioning in ch. 2, v. 256-257. My humble request, any sane person may response in a sensible manner. Please. Thanks.
At 1o1.28 the little cat got a fish from the catch, unfortunately the fisherman took it away from him and He miaou, cried as He looks so hungry, skinny and small. This man could have given him a piece of a smaller fish instead. That broke my heart.
This is all a result of superior leadership skills. Yes,leadership is a skill. Hopefully it will be successfully passed down from generation to generation.
Yes !!! . . I prefer a benevolent monarchy over our so called democracies any day. . . The thing with most/all democracies is they are competitive rather than co-operative. There is constant separation and division. They just don't work. . . Long live their king. . . May other nations learn and follow. . .

The current ruler is his Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
Wow no trees in the desert yet they still find firewood
Lol yeah it’s raining woods sometimes
53:44 quite disrespectful voice over, he is speaking better english than the omani.
What did you expect from europeans other than disrespectful views to anyone is not white?
Great video documentary spoiled by way too many dumb commercials….🥵

The Arabian Peninsula is becoming less Muslim 🙏🏽💪
