Video A few days around Bute

Five days of canoe sailing around the Isle of Bute in Scotland, September 10-14th 2020. Very mixed weather with some challenging conditions at times - a memorable trip! Excellent eco-camping at Carry Farm and a superb wild camping spot with shelter at the northern tip of Bute.

Was there a good beach for launching at Portencross and was there reasonably good parking close by?

There is a narrow entrance into the little bay next to the Castle for launching and a large free car park about 150 metres away which is the castle car park - you can trolley from there.
