In this clip, Zab Judah told Vlad the notion that boxers hands are considered to be lethal weapons under law is BS. In actuality, boxers aren't charged and prosecuted any different than any other citizen. He just said it's not in the non-boxer's best interest to run up on someone who fights professionally.

Glad is taking the “hands as a lethal weapon” thing too literally. The point is that if you have special training the court will take that into account…not that you have to go downtown and actually register your hands. That doesn’t even make sense.

@@thecheck4879 you don’t, that probably wouldn’t be constitutional, much less enforceable (who exactly qualifies? how do they prove it? …if they already know who qualifies, they’d already have a database, what’s the point of registering?) …but even if there were a requirement for certain people to register: you wouldn’t be literally “registering your HANDS”…as in giving them the serial number of your hands, which are considered literal weapons.
I worked for a fight promotion company and I been telling idiots for years there is no such thing as registering your hands when u become pro.
