I the just finished the patch panels in the trunk floor a 70 cougar. Very interested to see more videos. BTW that's why I never use dollies towing a "unknown" Mustang/Cougar. Car hauler is the way to go, load up and relax. Good video though.
I believe I know that Cougar brother. If its the same baby blue 67 cougar my parents purchases in late 1966, it would have originally been titled to Earl Guyton (being my name is same as my Dads name was. It came from a dealership here in Houston Tx where I still live called Jacobe Pearson lincoln mercury. I still have one picture of that car that was taken about a year later in 1968 of the drivers side of the car in our driveway from about 30 feet away in where you see it from front to back
That stretch of road is cursed! I drove my 67 down to Corpus for a movie shoot last year, and it was about the same spot my rear axle bearing let go, and I got stuck on the side of the road.
Just found your channel, very interesting! Nice to see you bring life to a thrown away classic. With the amount of work you have done I hope you go past the patina racer look and go at least to a day four look, at least a rattle can primer single color finish, kind of like how they looked when we drove them in the early 80s. If they are good, save the quarter panels from the second parts car just in case!

Thanks
Dude , I hope you have a good time doing that project. It’ll be a great car!
