hogs are destroying my 4 acre yard :( .. I don't know how to make a snare, so do you think if I get a timer and plug a loud stereo/radio into it, that it will work to scare them off?
That may work for a while, but wild pigs will most likely acclimate to the noise and return eventually. Exclusion fencing and/or lethal control techniques are going to be your best bet given your situation.
