This isn’t new news, for those of you who watched her first doc, Simply Complicated, which to my knowledge is still streaming for free here, but to those who haven’t, you should. I think Demi was placed on this earth to protect and be an example for people who struggle with mental health and substance issues. I hope she writes a Tell All book one day. Kind of like how the Hulu documentary about Nickelodeon unmasked that creep Schneider!
That's what Leo's do lol xx Strong confident passionate caring firery dominant sarcastic af golden retriever energy with a lion/lioness leaderships personality xx❤️🧡💛👑👑👑💯💯💯 Btw I promise I'm not making fun of all these child actors past/present/future trumas I'm mearly just giving my support for demi xx
All the disney stars should come forward, I feel like there is alot of things that should have never happened to these kids. You see demi and others lashing out. I always thought this was a cry for help.
Where have you been? Look, each star affected on their own depends solely on the support network they had at the time. Individuals like Christy Carlson Romano and Raven-Symoné pushed ahead and didn't deal with the onslaught of nasty that came from Disney. The Disney experience of being a child actor has varied. Even Miley Cyrus has credited her time at Disney and as Hannah Montana as one of the biggest gifts and roles that launched her career. It truly depends WHO and what people ALLOWED and what corporate policies that shaped their child experiences. I truly believe that because these child actors are now adults, should now seek legal council in which they can form an alliance with Bob Iger so that EVERY SINGLE CHILD ACTOR IS HEARD and SUPPORTED while in the care of the production studios. We know from many ex-Disney Stars, particularly young women like Demi, Zendaya, Monique Coleman and Danielle Fishel that it was anything but wholesome to work for Disney.
@@ericabaysinger6343 if you knew anything about addiction you would know u can’t judge what sober is for anyone… do better and stop judging her… that’s the whole reason she came out with the documentary and ur still sitting here doing exactly that…
I'm glad to see Alyson and Demi have a chance to address things in their past together. Hopefully this documentary opens up a pathway towards healing for everyone involved in this destructive industry.
It’s so good to see her healthy again! She’s so talented as a vocalist and songwriter and it seems like she’s learned from her mistakes. While she spiraled heavily and went through addiction, mental health crisis, and a really bad phase, she came back from it and is spreading light and positivity now instead of darkness and negativity. She’s talking about important things that need to be talked about. I wish people would give her a break and forgive her for her mistakes and controversies and give her another chance. She’s very talented and raw and she seems to be doing better. For all the people saying “she’s just a drug addict” and “she’s always the victim, get off your high horse because it’s not like you’re perfect. And it’s absolutely disgusting of the people saying she should have died during her overdose and that she should have committed suicide when her bullies made a suicide petition for her in middle school. For the people saying that, I pray for your soul and that you find your humanity and stop being so hateful.
side note: tired of seeing these young celebs touch their face. I dont know who is forcing them or pushing them to do it. Really wish social media was kind to these celebs they are literally changing their bodies and faces because of it.
I mean, I still think that needs to be said, I know many people would disagree but I wanna speak up and say I agree with you. These rich celebrities can afford to stay away from the industry they are in, if it’s so triggering for them, they don’t have to work or work as many hours, they now truly have the power and the voice to cancel people, they get to go home or move home and escape. Us regular folks can’t afford to drop hours, or we have to go home to a problematic neighbourhood because we aren’t rich to get away. Idk, people say money doesn’t matter, but money and resources gives you freedom and choices. People like Demi always talks about how fame destroyed her but after a certain point, it’s a choice that she is making.
I agree. Plus she was in middle school when that happened which was probably traumatizing. She’s a human being who made mistakes and went through a bad phase, and I understand why a lot of people hated her when she went through her entitled bitchy phase and spread a lot of negativity, but she seems like she’s grown since then and is doing better now. Give her a chance, nobody’s perfect.
I wish Demi could read this-but for anyone who is struggling with addiction-I cannot emphasize enough the immeasurable power of the Holy Rosary. I am willing to bet that if you persevere in praying the Rosary every day, you’ll either give up the vice or give up praying the Rosary. That is how confident I am in Mother Mary’s intercession, and based on my own experience. Just look up the power of the Rosary online. God bless you.
She literally got bullied herself so bad 👎 yes some bullies turn out that way because they got bullied themselves but doubt demi would do that to any1 considering hers was so bad ...
This is horrible. How could anyone be okay with grouping up against one person to sign a petition to get someone to commit suicide petition. Disgusting 🤮 who raised ya’ll and how dare the parents of those kids!
Actually when she was abused by her father and bullied in school, they were the problem, but her drug addiction was a problem and the way she behaved when she spiraled and became a bully herself was a problem, but at least she’s taking accountability, making amends, and trying to stay sober and do better. You’re just being hateful because of your biased against her, you’re refusing to realize she’s a human being.
Yes but who the heck is watching Allyson Stoner? Has anyone ever said oooh let's put on an Allyson Stoner movie? I don't see how fame is effecting her like it is Drew and Simone.
This is a very ignorant comment since she was in A LOT of films as a child and teen and was very exploited. She started a program called Movement Genius to help new child stars and she has a web series where she talks about being a child star and why they spiral.
@@kaylind543exactly. this is why the entertainment industry is so corrupt. There’s no discourse there’s not spotlight on the ugliness, because if you try to be candid you’re labelled as difficult or desperate. Trying to be a victim/martyr etc. not every whistleblower is doing it for a grab at relevance. Life isn’t a popularity contest 24/7! like god, can we switch the brain rot off to 2 seconds to really unpack the insanity? it’s all intentional. society is brainwashed to view people as disposable in this way. Suck em dry for a distraction and entertainment and move on to a new flavour. It’s pretty gross. demented and dystopian, to be honest. Like how gross is the optics already that her ‘relevance’ was at its peak when she was a child? That the pipeline to child star to extremely damaged teen/adult is so common. These kinds of spotlights are actually important. Not the rehearsed pr comments, and the usual script: ‘I’m so lucky to be here. Working with this rich and creepy director has been a dream come true! All the producers are just so nice to me! They always invite me to secluded places to hang out, what good friends omg I love Hollywood! Sure, I’m trading in my self esteem and safety for a comfortable career in the arts, but it’s the price I gotta pay. Once I’m legal I’ll really start to lose my appeal with these degenerates so I better make this fast work.❤” actually gathering many child stars from the past 30 years and showing the detrimental side is more refreshing and honest. The coercion, the competitiveness, the crime…it’s been an open secret forever. Tinsel town and most big industries backed by corporate greed have dangerous people in charge. puppeteers taking advantage of young talent. Cycling through people and preying in the vulnerable with mental health and confidence issues to begin with.
@kaylind543 if you watch some of the singing shows she has been on, she bullied alot of the contestants. Now she is trying to get your sympathy by making suicide into a gimmick. It's like Jlo pretending to be an authentic Latina from the block and not speaking Spanish. 😂
This is so sad!!! All the adults in these lives failed them. Do better!!!
Things celebs should talk about, things that are very important
That is sinful

Technically she died for a bit on that last OD I was told. Crazy. Hopefully she can stay sober and live a clean life to help others
She's what you'd call California sober...which means she smokes and drinks ...I believe or smokes n takes meds n drinks something like that

Right?! She was perfectly beautiful the way she was and didn’t need any plastic surgery. It makes me sad when celebrities do that.
If they want to, they can. What difference does it make for you?
When is her new single coming out?!
Sad about what happened to her as a child, as an adult now she can leave the spotlight.
the people that bullied her are probably working at a gas station now.
Miley Cyrus and Joe Jonas are doing very well for themselves
these two never bullied Demi
Yep.
Can't wait to watch her story
She is strong 🙏🏼♥️
Being a young actress comes with downsides. Parents, please protect your kids.

She was the problem but still blames everyone else, and that’s why she keeps relapsing. She’s always a victim
