My dad passed away from cancer on Monday, and at one point it was just me and him in the hospital room listening to this song. He couldn't really speak, could barely move, but as this came on he turned his head to smile at me as if to say "don't worry, I've got this," and was drumming his fingers along to the music. It's now one of my fondest memories of my dad and I feel this song totally embodied him as a person and in this specific moment; someone who kicks ass despite his dire situation, and he was that one in a million father anyone could ever want that I will miss very much.

I tried watching breaking bad, didn't do it for for me. However The Sopranos hooked me from the first episode... I don't even skip the intro. My humble opinion, The Sopranos is one of the best shows I've ever seen.
Breaking Bad is great but this series has just another level of depth.. pretty much everything about life. Everything. Every character is perfectly crafted. Every scene is meticulously planned and hands down the humour 😂 it remains unparalleled. I fucking love this series. All in all it is a masterpiece. And this song is the undisputed greatest opening theme. You can't change my mind.

What I most appreciated about this series was its ability to convey a philosophical message, that is, you can have all the money and power you want, but you can not buy happiness. Even a powerful man like Tony Soprano, who apparently seemed to have everything, needed the prozac to feel free. Also I am Neapolitan, and another thing that I loved in this series is how they described the sense of family that we Neapolitans have. I finally got around to watching the entire series on Amazon video. Truly one of the best shows i have seen, other than breaking bad. I never once had the urge to skip the intro, it was that damn good.
One of the best series ever made. And I love this song too.
