For Falcons wings, Lego should do what they did with the old buzz lightyear! Have a backpack piece where you can attach the wings to the side! Obviously it would be a smaller backpack for Falcon, and larger wings, but it would work so well!!!
I feel like flexible plastic wings, like the ones DC's Hawkman got, would also work pretty well. Especially since Falcon's wings are partially transparent.
I wonder if the Black Widow reuse was because of a limit on the printing budget. There's been a trend in the Marvel theme of only having around fourteen or so new figures every wave, and the cartoon-based sets plus Civil War give us enough new figs to fill this theoretical limit. Otherwise, they would have done a new Captain America as well, instead of also reusing the AoU minifig.
Y'know, if you stacked a bunch of those trans-black domes it could look like a rising plume of smoke. Would be cool for a western train or steampunk MoC.
I am definitely getting this! My only complaint is that I think that LEGO should have given Crossbones his gauntlets. Other that that, the set is pretty perfect!
If they want Falcons wings to fold, they should follow these steps: 1:put that clear thing that's on war machine on his neck 2:put 2 black holders on the 2 dots on the clear piece 3:put gray or black sticks in the 2 black holders(1 in each) 4:put 2 of those gray things that usually hold cockpits on the sticks(1 on each) 5:build something really big like The Quinjet from The Airport Battle set Then just let Redwing be a separate piece, and done!!!!
I hadn't yet seen the pictures of Crossbones' movie rendition, so I looked it up, and man was I pleased and disappointed at the same time. I was pleased because of how good the movie's rendition looks, and disappointed that lego seems to have not even tried to get the face print even vaguely similar.
Crossbones should be wearing a more aggressive mask with power fists. If they were going for a comic look, they should have made the mask more like a cross than a skull
at least they could have given falcon arm print so it doesn't look like he's wearing long sleeve shirt if they're not giving crossbones a helmet or anything to make his hands look like they're covered up with power gauntlets
I will probably pick this set up since Falcon is one of my favorite characters from the movies, but overall I'm not terribly impressed. I agree that it would have been nice to see a new Black Widow figure and Crossbones looks a bit too cartoonish. After all the work they put into Falcon's print I'm a little disappointed he doesn't have printed legs to match. I think the truck is well done though. Great review as always!
The reason Lego doesn't want you to see the print on the back of falcon is because the bit in the middle is supposed to represent his wings when they have folded inside his pack. Don't think you quite caught on what they were Jang! xD
+Jim Bob Chief I've seen the character in both movies so far, I understand how he works and how the pack works. I expect the vast majority of kids to leave the wings on all of the time. It's just like with all of the Chima figures with intricate printing on the back, that's then covered up by armor and/or a cape, not to mention the printed faces that are completely covered by headgear. It seems like a lot of work to put into something that will almost never be seen. I would rather have gotten a print in the center of the wing piece, with a just single stud so that when you removed Redwing there would have been something interesting to look at instead of the big gray jumper (or four ugly studs if you remove that).
I like it. The off-road vehicle looks awesome. I like the rugged look to it. Falc looks awesome as well. And you know, things go in the movie anything like they did in the comics, then well, things might be looking good for Sam WIlson. :D No wait, actually Bucky Barnes. But right now I believe that Sam Wilson is the current (insert spoiler here) in marvel comics.
I rarely build what's on the box, the figures are just cool side pieces. I am still overjoyed we can now have Capt America, Falcon, Green Lantern, & Space Batman face off against Zod, Sinestro, Crossbones, and a sci-fi laser trooper with the head of Sean Connery.
That crossbones face looks really good. I might see if a can buy multiple versions of his head to make a custom army of henchmen or assassins or something.
I agree about Black Widow, and it does look like they went with the comic version of Crossbones' face instead of the cinematic version. I don't mind it so much, but it doesn't fit the set very well as you mentioned. My guess is that they had to design it before the final set costume was finished and thats why they went with that version. Great video! Looking forward to the airport scene review :)
I personally really like the Crossbones figure. I think that your point about how he doesn't look like the MCU version is the reason a lot of people think this figure is trash. I think it looks cool, comic-booky and I like the face. It's a good mix of the comic and movie version. Comic in the head and movie in the torso. Its just the legs being plain grey is pretty lame. If Lego absolutely refused to put leg printing in, I think it should have at least been black legs. No problem though, I have plenty of those :)
This is the set I want most right now (haven't been able to find any of the new sets locally yet) and I'm mostly interested in it, as you say, for the figures. Particularly Falcon. I'm a little disappointed they didn't include the "backpack" piece he has in the Video Game as well as Red Wing so you could replace it when it's detached. Then again I suppose it would make much difference when it's on display.
The Crossbones figure does actually look pretty movie-accurate. The movie version has a helmet with the skull painted on, while the comic version's mask is a lot cleaner and neatly patterned.
I think that I might get this set for the parts. I used my Black Widow head for a custom Agent Carter mini figure, so it would be nice to have a spare Black Widow figure. I also can use those the hair and face for my custom Falcon minifigure, and that Crossbones car would be great for a Mad Max: Fury Road moc
Yeah, both the Captain America and the Black Widow are completely unchanged from their AoU renditions, aside from the new hairpiece for Cap. Also, I feel like they should have made a new helmet piece for Crossbones, with a printed skull; they could probably reuse the mold elsewhere without the print.
I'm actually really happy that Black Widow is the same because at Christmas I got the big avengers set, 3 days later the black widow figure dissapeared. She was either taken by a younger cousin or she's in a couch or something but I don't wanna pay the 20 bucks just to get a figure online so this is great. Falcon is my favorite superhero so I'm really happy they made him. And honestly I could care less that crossbones is even here because of those two figures. But shouldn't they not be working together since they're on opposing teams? (Black widow is Iron man)
Yeah that crossbones looks weird in comparison to the very excellent looking costume in the movie. The Movie version almost has a Predator vibe to the mask and it looks super cool. What a shame! *edit* also in the movie it looks like he has some kind of pneumatic punching devices attached to his hands, which it would have been cool to see lego attempt to make.
To those silly people who can't and or don't buy every product Lego releases, I only just now got my Black Widow with this set, so no disappoint there. If you want Action Figures, review those, if you want Black Widow to have a pony tail, it's not like you don't have a drawer of hair pieces!
This must be before the 'war' starts because falcon and black widow are working together but if you look at the trailer, their on opposite sides. Also, the black widow is the AoU version
hey Jang, I like this set and I will be getting it, I think the back print on Falcon is his wings folded up and as for the other two figs they just don't fit the movie trailer images, I like Cross Bones but like you say he is cartoonish,
as much as I love this set and its figs I'm gonna get the black panthers jet first because you get 3 figurea 1 JET and 2 lang based vehicles for 30$! I'll get that one first than this one. thanks for the review Jang :-)
Could you try to build a moc car that seats 5 minifigures like a real life passenger car. I can't find anyone even aren't to do it online and I thought it would be an interesting challenge.
hmm...dont care much for the figs, except perhaps crossbones for pieces, but i love the looks of the jeep, might have to get this set just for that....
Hey Jang can you please make some lego studios set reviews and I have a idea for your city you could make a Movie Studio also I really hope you make some lego blacktron set reviews as well
just order falcon on ebay or bricklink and get black panther pursuit so the you have cap America, bucky (or buckey) , the falcon and an exclusive black panther figure and i you dont care about the black panther than sell him on ebay AND you have a cool little jet and a motorcycle and a jeep
For Falcons wings, Lego should do what they did with the old buzz lightyear! Have a backpack piece where you can attach the wings to the side! Obviously it would be a smaller backpack for Falcon, and larger wings, but it would work so well!!!
Yeah, that could work (but folding wings would be SO awesome)

Jang, it also looks like a Mad Max vehicle.
so true
Yeah lol. But it looks really noice!
+Lord of the Minifigures IKR!!

Otherwise, they would have done a new Captain America as well, instead of also reusing the AoU minifig.
or it is like a memory of them and isn't black widow on iron mans tea.
no she's got her same suit on team stark
I think your right - they also made only 3 sets for this theme! I suppose that's to limit stickers, prints, characters and new pieces
+Ikkad karf I'm just glad they finally gave Captain America hair instead of using that awful head/helmet combo.
+Joshua Deck perfect Cap figure would have a helmet like the Flash and hair you could put on (like MichaelMGF does)
I thinks the jeep in this set would look great in an opocolyptic scene, since it has that kind of look to it :)
2:55 black widows wepon is replicating her whole body
Her hair is trash tho
Y'know, if you stacked a bunch of those trans-black domes it could look like a rising plume of smoke. Would be cool for a western train or steampunk MoC.
That would be an awesome effect
i think it'd be cool for crossbones if they made a wolverine claw like hand accessory that covers the hands and serves as his iron fists
The off-shoooting wpns are pretty accurate, according to the usual "badguy aim" :D
I am definitely getting this! My only complaint is that I think that LEGO should have given Crossbones his gauntlets. Other that that, the set is pretty perfect!

🙃
+NXLmorgan Studiso bruh, Your neck - it's broken
the vehicle looks like the Dual with Hydra set vehicle but with a more rugged feel to it
that's what I thought
This is a really cool set in my opinion the vehicle is a very refreshing build!
Crossbones should be wearing a more aggressive mask with power fists. If they were going for a comic look, they should have made the mask more like a cross than a skull
Not a bad set. I wish they would come up with different, non-off road looking tires for sport bikes. Thanks for sharing!!!
at least they could have given falcon arm print so it doesn't look like he's wearing long sleeve shirt if they're not giving crossbones a helmet or anything to make his hands look like they're covered up with power gauntlets

+JANGBRiCKS agreed! Brilliant review as always, and thank you for replying. Cant wait till the next Halo Mega Bloks video! :P
+JANGBRiCKS ohh man I wish black panther got something super big because he's my favorite super hero
+JANGBRiCKS I agree

crossbones looks pretty well done, even with the head
a shame however that they did nothing with his legs
I'm very happy with the Black Widow, since I'm to broke to get her any other way
josh brown me too I am on a VERY tight budget. $5 allowance per week
harry Arney lol
You could always swap out Black Widow's hair piece with the first Avengers Quinjet Black Widow. Her hair was also wrong in that set as well.
Your voice is really calming
Cross bones is Logan T Walker in The Marvle
Can't wait for this movie. Although I suspect it will follow the same formula as most other MCU films.
If only Falcons wings could fold away and Red Wing was a bit smaller, not so bulky.
How would they make them foldable at that scale?
I'm actually really happy that Black Widow is the same because at Christmas I got the big avengers set, 3 days later the black widow figure dissapeared. JANGBRiCKS me and my siblings are gonna make a custom marvel city any tips would be nice
The falcon minifig looks sick
Just got this set. It is really great.

That jeep or whatever.. kind of looks like the Dual With Hyrda Avengers car
Probably my second favourite set after th one with black panther
I think the set was actually really nice
This vehicle is perfect for the Lego Movie 2
the backprint on falcon looks like a transformers head
Jang, you should review the Lego Boeing 787 dreamliner set from 2006!
The clear piece from airport battle that goes on war machine
This must be before the 'war' starts because falcon and black widow are working together but if you look at the trailer, their on opposite sides. Also, the black widow is the AoU version
Or maybe their fighting to get there first. Or maybe it's because in the trailer it looks like she leaves Tony's side?
Could be. We'll just have to wait for the movie!
you can make a crossbones helmet piece by modding the kylo ren mask
True I've done it befor
the print on Falcon's back is a Transformer's head, just saying...
advice for someone making a Lego marvel collection: get this for $20 or Milano vs the abilisk for 40?
hey Jang, I like this set and I will be getting it, I think the back print on Falcon is his wings folded up and as for the other two figs they just don't fit the movie trailer images, I like Cross Bones but like you say he is cartoonish,
I think you guys are missing the point. The truck is SUPPOSED to look bad.It looks good but being bad.
Like Michael Jackson bad lol.
there are alot of really big parts in this set wich I find wierd those window pieces on the sides should have had iron bars pieces in them
Agree with you on all counts. Lastly both grey legs for falcon and crossbones seemed a little plain and very boring.
This set is amazing and cheap way to get good minfigures
I'm thinking this is a much cheeper means of getting the Age of Ultron Black Widow than the AoU Avengers sets.
The jeep could be Deathstrokes. Right?
I like the airport battle a lot more
I know this is a bit off-topic, but could you review the Propeller Plane set as to finish reviewing all of the new 2016 Creator sets?
if u remember in ninjago ronin had robotic wings when he chased the ninja in the ninja bike chase falcons wings would make a good wing pack for ronin
True, if only Lego read this before they announced the salvage mec
Dose anyone else think they exaggerated Black Widow's chest?
nathan casarez definitely not , she should have been bigger
as much as I love this set and its figs I'm gonna get the black panthers jet first because you get 3 figurea 1 JET and 2 lang based vehicles for 30$! I'll get that one first than this one. thanks for the review Jang :-)
I wish that the wings could be removed without the neck piece, because this damage the head
Great video! I had a pair of space police villains legs and it looked better on crossbones.
Could you try to build a moc car that seats 5 minifigures like a real life passenger car. I can't find anyone even aren't to do it online and I thought it would be an interesting challenge.
So Falcon's Drone is the equivalent to Soundwave's Laserbeak
jangbricks you are a very creative man
I just got this yesterday it's awesome
I kinda lost it when I saw the Black Widow's torso print
It's color scheme looks like something Metalbeard would drive around the town, don't you think? ;)
Who would take falcons drone off and keep it like that.Or keep the drone on.
this is a millatary armoured troop transporter in the movie plz review tantive iv
hmm...dont care much for the figs, except perhaps crossbones for pieces, but i love the looks of the jeep, might have to get this set just for that....
Can I have the figures?
Hey Jang can you please make some lego studios set reviews and I have a idea for your city you could make a Movie Studio also I really hope you make some lego blacktron set reviews as well
Crossbones has the breathing thing because he was almost killed in the last film
I ordered Falcon on eBay
They could've used Agent 13's hair in orange for Black Widow.
Falcon's hair piece is the same as Finn's! Coincidence? I don't think so...
Jang do you play COD?If you do you could use crossbones head for ghosts head in a custom ghost
I'm getting this just for falcon
just order falcon on ebay or bricklink and get black panther pursuit so the you have cap America, bucky (or buckey) , the falcon and an exclusive black panther figure and i you dont care about the black panther than sell him on ebay AND you have a cool little jet and a motorcycle and a jeep
Hi I have one complant falcons guns should have been the ones that the winter soldier has in the black panther pursuit please reply.
The lego red wing is almost as big as falcon XD
Wait this is Crossbones' Hazard Heist? Just when I thought I was watching Jangbricks...
I love everything in the set except the black widow and crossbones
Hey Falcon's wings are not suppose to be flexible its red wing from the actual falcon from the comics
Falcon's wings are flexible.
okay but on the back is still red wind not a flexible wing its red wing.....
How'd you like the movie, Jang?
Hey Jang,
Do you know when the airport set will be released as the other two have but not the airport set ,thanks Jang
its for crossbones and his troops
no leg printing on falcon and crossbones and a recycled black widow fig? What a letdown, but the jeep looks great
jeep from mad max, black widow from age of ultron and crossbones from the comics. The only civil war movie thing is falcon :-D
Am I right that in these sets there aren't any superjumpers?
+Beanguy Productions That's good
I think they'll only be included with SPIDERMAN and juniors sets now
yes, no super jumpers
I like the set itself, but I do not like the mini figs for black widow and cross bones
Hey jang! Can you tell me what lego marvel sets have come out this month?
Maybe the the clear round tile is Tony Starks Ark Reactor???
That could be, but we will have to wait to see
For any of you teen titans fans (the og show) crossbones head looks like red x
I just saw civil war today, and now I want this set, crossbones should have had a bigger part in the movie, am I right?
YES! that what I said after the film
He was the best character in the movie.
I have this set and I have a lot of long hair so I gave
I to her and she look good
I wish Falcons alternate face was him without his goggles
Jang, please reply to my question on your previous civil war review!
