- In today's video, we eat the best local Thai street food In Koh Samui, and this ended up being one of the best meals we have had in Koh Samui. If you're looking for authentic Thai food then, you can't beat a local roadside restaurant like this one. All the dishes ar Lan Saka (ร้านลานสกา) were delicious but very very spicy.

That food looks good! 😋 I've had food-poisoning twice and had to go to the hospital both times. It was a miserable experience and I wanted to die it was so bad. The second time was the worst and since then I've been very cautious of restaurants and when eating other people's food. Most of the time I prepare my own food.

@@erikd6487 I do to! As long as the food is well cooked and not raw like Oysters you´ll be OK!
Do you know what you ate both times that did it to you? I've been to Thailand 5 times and have never had full-on food poisoning (no emesis), thank god, but have had some form of intestinal dysbiosis every time. One time I was up in Pai, and a stupid coconut shake of all things laid me out for three days. I'm guessing they hadn't been cleaning out the blender correctly, but who knows.
@@rhizomorph-music The first time was in The Philippines and it was some kind of meat dish. It tasted like meatloaf and it was probably undercooked or the bowl they prepared it in wasn't cleaned enough.
The second time was in Norfolk, Virginia at a pizza restaurant not far from where I lived. We suspect it was from one of the cooks or food handlers not having clean hands. A few years that restaurant and other businesses were torn down and you could see how filthy the kitchen was while they were demolishing it.
I always thought those pork things were eggs so I've never tried. They do use a lot of tumeric in south Thailand, Vietnam and in Cambodia they seem to use it in everything. Hope Sai is feeling better I know the feeling well.
They are eggs together with pieces of Porkbelly! Sweet and delicious!

Have Sai take some baking soda to settle her stomach. And I'm sure you know about Charcoal ? SAi does look a little peaked. More rest and lots of fresh water.
I was in the hospital once with food poisoning from eggs and the doctor told me flat coca cola is best and it worked.

Not good eating foods from foreign countries what some people can eat doesn't mean everyone can their stomach's are more susceptible to parasites and bacteria
