Nice overview. However, I disagree about using an LOC instead of the included RCA adapters. These amplifiers are designed to handle both hi-level and low-level inputs. Installing an LOC to lower the signal is basically counterproductive, since these amps can easily handle up to 20V signal input.
Would love to see a amplifier dyno for the JBL class A 1000.1, i have 2 strapped together on my EVL18 in my truck they seem to put out some good clean power
My sub have shift buttons press. left 2 ohm right 4 ohm. Sub rms 250. JBL 1024SS slipstream ported. Speakers details, Front 6520 jbl, rear gx 628 jbl, amp A5055 jbl . My question is, how would I know my amp running at 4ohm or on 2 ohms?. As u said, amp can push 50x4 rms plus 320 rms subs at 4ohm. And different impedance at 2 ohm. Is there any button or option on the amp a5055 to press to shift 2 ohm or 4 ohm like I have in my sub. ? What I'm missing here. Pls share your expert comments. How would I know amp running at 2 ohm or 4 ohms
You amplfiier will run at the impedance of your speakers. So if you connect 2 ohms speakers, it will run at 2 ohms. Whereas, say 4 ohm speakers, will run at 4, and so on... It's very simple.
"If you short accidentally put the power in the ground". If you do this please either quit being a car audio installer or sell all your car audio equipment.
yea it was ok depends on how much power your looking and car..i had it on a ported ten kicker and then kappa sub..it has 500rms at sub channel.@@freeair7292

Pretty easy for that wire to touch the other installing but still a dumb move if you had the fuse in 😂
Bro.. how does it sound? It’s the same as the infinity.
Damn...I want this AMP, but I don't want to go through all of the re-coding for my car. After doing this for my car battery, I was like ..no more.
Which amp
nevermind ok..yea i got the infinity version of this amp.
@@oslozoya1is it powerful enough to run a decent sub?

@@freeair7292 kinda curious on what vehicle it would be in and how much bass ur expecting.
Recommend woofer ? Brand and rms?? Pls
I’m confused on how to hook up a sub woofer to this amp. Would rca cables AND speaker wire rub from from the sub to the amp
You gave wrong information, 4x75 at 2 ohms, not 4x65.
Anybody in Dallas tx that does installations? Need some new stuff in my truck
What does the Bluetooth function do?
🔥👍💯💪
What class is this amp, Class D? thanks
very rare to see 5 channel amp not in Class D.. also judging by the small size it's pretty obvious that they're Class D
Class AB and D. Ab for front rear and d for sub
What do the classes mean?
@@mcjjordan I think it has to do with how efficient the sub is.
