- And here we are with I Spy Junior and...oh gosh did I really record this game?
Honestly I thought I'd never see this game again. I remember so little about it. It was easily one of the most forgettable games I ever played as a kid. I found the difficulty to be unbelievably low and the gameplay really dull. And keep in mind, I was four when I first played this game, so this is stupid four-year-old me talking. I guess I was a bit of a child prodigy and maybe I was a little too used to the higher difficulty of the Humongous games, but honestly after I played School Days, I never went back to this one.
I have very little to say about this recording. I actually almost entirely went unpracticed. I played maybe a picture or two before recording this, where for other I Spy games I usually play the game one time through so I don't get stuck on finding anything. Since the game literally shows you what you're trying to find though, and since they're always in plain sight, I saw no purpose in trying to practice. This game really could have used some sort of difficulty setting.
There are three main riddle games, and three side activities. It's all about what you'd expect, I suppose. Interestingly this game seems to take inspiration from both the original "I Spy" book and the "I Spy School Days" book.
So...enjoy, I guess? I sure didn't, but you might.

Even more than the video this comment just unlocked memories from 17 years ago, I remember my siblings mocking that sound as some sort of inside joke lol

My memories of this game: Shortly after we bought our HP Pavilion 6545C in January 2000, with the intention of replacing our Compudyne from 1995, my parents bought me a copy of I Spy (the original, not the School Days re-release) from the Scholastic Book Club catalog. Some time after that, my Kindergarten teacher showed us that I Spy Junior was installed on her computers in the classroom. That summer, or maybe the next summer, we were at our local science museum; they had computers set up in the merchandise shop that the kids could play on while the parents were making their purchases, and I Spy Junior was one of the available games (or maybe it was the only game, I'm not 100% sure).
And... yeah, it was boring even when I was in the target demographic, mainly because I was already used to the somewhat harder difficulty of the original.
I remember this being my very first I Spy when I was a toddler, and being so ecstatic about it. I guess I've seriously outgrown it since, cuz now, I definitely think Fantasy and Spooky Mansion are the superior ones.

I remember I played this Game on the School's Apple iBook (Way before the Macbook ever existed later on) when I was in 1st Grade (2004-2005 School Year) and I loved it I was playing it in the Morning in The Reading Lab (My 1st Elementary School had a Reading Lab in case anybody's Wondering) while one of The Reading Lab Teachers would Set up the iBook and PC Games for me when I would get to School while everybody else would play Outside during Recess. I also played I Spy School Days Around that time but I loved I Spy Junior way better. Another Game I also played when I was in Elementary School was Treasure Cove (If anybody remembers that PC Game) so yeah playing all of these PC Games on the School's Computers when I was in 1st Grade Brings me back to my Elementary School Days and when I had my innocence.

Yep, I was the first to make a video about this game, and you were the second to do so! I sure did beat you to it in 2012, didn't I?
Anyway, I remember playing this game when I was little. It was one of my favorites at the time, along with other games, like "Thomas and Friends: Building the New Line." I actually liked it a lot, and it was my first I Spy game. I also remember playing its sequel, "I Spy Junior: Puppet Playhouse." Thanks very much for this walkthrough! It really does bring back memories.

I have no idea why, but the "potted plant" in the Nature area scared me. I was a weird kid :P

The game "Oops Hoops" is almost similar to this Sesame Street game "Bert's Bottle Caps".
I saw a small blue Fox in this game I wish it had a big red Fox in this game too them foxes have eyes and great ears
