That feeling when you were stuck for half an hour trying to find something back in the old days and then came back years later and realized that there was a hint button.
There’s a certain aesthetic in these games that they capture perfectly. Even though it’s means for kids, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy the game and play it through for nostalgia’s sake
I have no idea why, but I suddenly remembered the line "A sea sick pill." and my mind just... I needed to look up I Spy. Little did I know it would blow my mind with memories and nostalgia I had long since forgotten. My god the jingles...
i always got frightened at the part i put the pebbles in the shape of the skull. my sister and i would argue about who would do it and run to another room after putting the last one:) indeed, childhood
I remember playing this on Windows XP when I was 5. After completing the pebble part and finding the treasure, it felt like the greatest day of my childhood
Tis a stormy night on the sea; Me treasure is safe, but not me. You've found it, friend, And you've reached the end. A clever young mate ye must be! - One Eye Pete, 1802
I used to play this every day when I was a really young kid & I used to love the different playthroughs the game allowed you to do too. I somehow was able to play this on Bigfishgames (or some bs like that) online, around 5 years ago, but it gave my computer HELLA viruses. Having this video up literally brings me so much joy, it's hard to express. Old computer games & cereal box games 4ever bro
I remember back in preschool (I’m in college now) we had this classroom computer that we did whatever on. There was an era where this game would be on the computer and kids would play this everyday until one day, we were stuck on the part where the treasure was hidden behind a tree? (I’m yet to watch the video but I think that’s what it was) and for weeks we couldn’t get past that, but me. I remember screaming at the top of my lungs when I found it and everyone sprinting to the monitor. Coolest moment of my school career.
i remember playing this about 10 years ago. i couldn’t read and we didn’t have speakers so i didn’t know what i was looking for, nonetheless it was magical for me as a kid
Me and my mom played this game when I was younger. The music that plays when you get all the map pieces and put all the pebbles in the right place scared me a lot though, to the point where I made my mom play that part for me lol
The part that always freaked me out was the part at the end of I think round one if you will where it says "The eye patch is a clue I left it just for you" dun dun dun (scary music💀💀☠️☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️)
This game made me want to go see an actual home town with a light house along the beach. I managed to finally find one when I noticed Crescent City, CA on Google maps. It's just pitiful that I have to remain in quarantine until the Coronavirus finally stops.😔
Definitely scower the internet for old game archives, it ought to be on here. Incase you stumble upon it, I couldn’t find this game in Flashpoint. (A software with thousands of old online games and such.)
i remember going to the public library and playing on the computer and seeing this on the games selecter, then they replaced all the computers with new one that are made for little kids then i never saw it again
I had to had a tooth pulled the day I brought this game home. I was in so much pain and my face was numb, but I remember playing this game and it was so fun, many play throughs.
2nd grade in 2008, everyone would race to the computer so that they could be the first to play it. Everyone would gather around the computer if you were about to get the treasure. I miss those times.
I think these fictional Buildings in Smugglers Cove like Duck Pond Inn was built in 1937, Mo's General Store was opened in 1946 and Smugglers Cove Museum was established in 1983 in Fiction.
I know that the three voice actors who were the pirates, as stated on "Behind the Voice Actors", are Ty Jones, Rodger Parsons, and PM. Lewis (Mary Pierce). The problem is I don't know which of the others voiced Pete and Newman.
Does anyone know how to get it working on a modern computer? I've tried messing around with all of the settings several times. I've used all of the compatibility modes at this point and still can't get it to work. I can hear the main menu but I can only see a black screen
I played this game all the time at my local library when I was young. I remember one day we got to the end of the game and I was scared of the pirate hahaha. God good memories
i have this game on my big fish game account, while i've got an problem. As i start the new game after finishing the second game(mary pierce), it returns to one eye pete. it seems big fish game version does not include a. newman. or is that hidden?
OH also to anyone who is reading, and has grown up on this game- *I TOTALLY FORGOT HOW FUNNY IT IS WHEN THE TEXT-TO-VOICE GETS CUT OFF WHEN YOU PRESS NEXT AND THE MUSIC PLAYS💀*

That feeling when you were stuck for half an hour trying to find something back in the old days and then came back years later and realized that there was a hint button.
Mr Tuxedo Try EFT. I did it for my anxiety and it's GONE, now😇THANK THE GOOD LORD😇There's a list of stuff it can help with😇
Umm...What?
Actually the hint button was added when the game was rereleased on Big Fish Games.
A...Hint.....WhAT?
I remember crying and running to my Mum for help as a toddler because I couldn’t find the second blue bird in the forest lmao
God, this is so surreal. I haven't played this game in over 13 years and I'm so glad that it wasn't just one of my fever dreams.
Same here. LOL
Same here. LOL
Screw finding treasure, Smugglers Cove looks like a nice place to live in. I just feel at home in seaside Lake Erie-like towns for some reason.
@Jacob Bollier same here
WildWoomy I get more of a Cape Cod vibe from it.
I always wanted to live there as a kid
YES MAN YES
@@jarodzahn6635 29:45 In I Spy Treasure Hunt, Smuggler's Cove Museum was opened in 1983 in Fiction.

The nostalgia! I plaid this all day everyday. I always wanted to live in this little coastal town! Reminds me of The Goonies a bit too.
i always got frightened at the part i put the pebbles in the shape of the skull. my sister and i would argue about who would do it and run to another room after putting the last one:) indeed, childhood
Thank you for doing this for us! 😍 Kids today will never understand this wholesome world we were in!
I remember playing this without understanding english, just clicking on random things waiting for music to play
I spent hours in the museum and ice cream shop. The sounds always bring me back…
Hello childhood my old friend~
It's nice to see you again...
Love you I spy...

I wanted to live in and explore this town when I was little. Rewatching this, I still want to.

Such a cute and enjoyable game for a kid. I loved playing this game when I was 10 and there is something truly special, warm and innocent about it.
Who else watched the whole thing and remembered every scene
Cheers
