Oh, my GOD this band has got me stumping the floor, this has got hell of beat...I LOVE IT........WOHOOO!!!!! LOVE FROM HERE IN SAN FRANCISCO, USA...and I'm Latino.....I love this...sounds like House from the most eclectic club here in SF.
This was my anthem when I wanted to marry an Ijebu queen. Funny enough, she doesn't even know their Oriki. I would chant this Oriki while she smiles gleefully.
MegaNigerian@ueen, thanks a lot am in the west, and am really proud of Ibefun, Queen do u live in Ibefun? say hello from the to the Royal Highness the king of Ibefun.
Thks a lot Queen, sorry i thought you are in Naija, i live in Europe ,Very soon we are going to have our own state, and i stongly believe that with people like you around its going to be a success. Ojudeoba is going to be next week, i wish you a very plesant stay in Naija any time you go their, plz lets keep intouch .
MegaQueen, am glad u stood up for the right of the Ijebus and on behalf myself and the whole of the Ijebus living in the west we say thanks a lot. People like you are needed for the formation of the Ijebu state. We are all proud of you.
@saywetin : Actually, you got it all wrong. Let me educate you, if you don't know. The Ijebus are more prudent, more economically savvy, more industrious and more philanthropic than any tribe in Nigeria that I know. That is why other tribes revere them a lot and envies them and talk ill about them. You see people get threatened by things they don't know and are afraid to try to find out. Even Igbos respects the Ijebus and are scared of the Ijebus - I am a living witness to that!
Eweso dede ewen omo Ijebu eku ipale mo odun o,Olorun aje kobani nayo. "Awa milo bolede sode" While in the United State Of America. I am very proud of my origin " Ago-Iwoye. Are you?
@Ras007100 : Wow, I was in Amsterdam in 2007, great place, Holland. Well, we will definitely meet at Ibefun one of these days. Till then keep flying high like an Eagle!
@Ras007100 : I am currently not in Ibefun, but I will be visiting in December. When I get there, at ojudeoba, I will extend your greetings to HRH, Oba Ibefun. Whom, I remeber the last time I went there, I slept with all doors and windows open, not one mosquito bite and no one buggled the house. I love IBEFUN!
@saywetin: Ijebus are not stingy, quite the contrary, they are smart, clever and wise. Have you not heard that Ijebus that studied Economics in the University went there to collect a PhD degree? I am so proud to be one of them! Even Igbos will never undermine Ijebus despite their claim of business acumen . An Igbo man once tried to swindle me, an Ijebu to the core lady, he (the Igbo man) regretted the day he was born). It was I promise I made to him and it was a promise that I proudly kept.
Been prudent in spending money is far different from don't want to spend. Most Ijebu's are born Economist with major in Money management. I rep Emuren Remo.
@Ras007100: you are very welcome, wen a ko ere oko dele o. ashe wa. I am making myself an official ambassador for all Ijebus - don't ever let other people's problems and complacency become your problems. Keep the flags flying higher and higher, the fact that people are talking ill (rubbish and gibberish) about Ijebus means, we are doing most things right and that is why those 'stainless steel handed' people are merely envious of us all. I LOVE ALL IJEBUS (home or farm) AND I AM PROUDLY ONE!
@kolafalana, what you mean to say is that the Ijebus love to save their money. Which is why any Ijebu that decided to obtain an Economics degree in any University anywhere in the world simply went to collect a PhD. It is in the genes, lol, but I am so proud to be an Omo Obanta. I love all the Ijebus of these world!
@Ras007100 : omo alare, eso o o, that will be a dream come true! Kekere Ijebu owo ni, agba Ijebu owo ni, Okunrin Ijebu owo ni, Obinrin Ijebu owo ni. We are the Royals, which means we will forever be the head and not the tail.
