First mod should always be safety course and getting skills. 99.9 percent of street riders can never get near the limits of modern sport bikes. Think you are the exception, go run a lap at a track, then let a pro do it, you will be shocked at how good the top 1 percent are. More power is last thing newbies need, when you actually get to bike limits then add the mods, for the most part they are a waste of money for most riders. Not that anyone will admit it, other than good top line tires and brakes and steering damper, most mods are for power and not needed.
Most mods are for power... Except maybe handlebar risers, adjustable levers to stop clutch hand cramp, battery chargers, phone mounts, end cans to increase likelihood of being heard by other motorists, headlight kits to see further, better quality seat, ECU restriction kit, gear indicators, heated grips, braided brake lines. Thousands of ways to modify your motorbike without having power in mind.
@JSENNER83 i bought my first bike at 19 which was an 04 gsxr-1000. Not all kids are retarded. I knew what I was getting into when I got the bike. I'm proud to say I haven't laid down any of my bikes to date. Common sense and logic aren't age specific virtues.
Yammie Noob, I am an old veteran and I agree with all but 2 things. 1- Condoms, as women age you want a thinner condom. 2 - Exhausts along with a re-flash is mandatory to upgrade. The EPA has the fuel injectors mandated to shut off when the throttles close. This causes jerks in transient power & can severely hamper cornering when power is reapplied. All bikes are easier to ride once re-flashed to get the EPA out of the ECU. Re-flashes should be done with an exhaust to get your best performance out of your ride. Seriously, try banging 50 year old women and you will want the thinnest condom that you can find.
Actually, the mirror tint visor offers great visibility at night. I honestly have no idea what you're talking about with that one.. However, I agree with everything else!
I fuckin love your humor, man. Also, I'm a new motorcycle enthusiast, just got my first bike, and much of your content has been extremely helpful. I appreciate all the tips and tricks you give to newbies like myself. Keep being awesome.
You put bar end mirrors on because most stock mirrors are very difficult to see anything out of, bar end mirrors allow you to get a picture of whats going on behind you without you in the picture. Bar end mirrors also don't vibrate like the stock mirrors do. A lot of stock mirrors vibrate creating a blurry image at specific RPM's. Bar end mirrors solve that problem. You prove again you don't know what your talking about.
A full exhaust system shaves kilos of the weight of the bike, which in turn improves acceleration, cornering, handling and deceleration. The difference won’t be huge, though. They also sound and look better!
The main reason i bought an after market exhaust is because my old exhaust system was rusted as it was a second hand bike and i needed a new one. And because i am going to be using this bike for the next few year i thought id put an exhaust on that i really liked. i do not regret my decision at all haha. Repsol Honda CBR RS 125cc
I have had multiple bikes and now ride an FZ-07 that I think is much better than the ones I've owned. (97 cbr F3, 2002 cbr f4i, 2006 zx636, 2002 shadow 750)
sometimes you gotta take the mirrors off if they're just that ugly, like the Honda Grom for example. Gotta take the mirrors off, and the little hadlebar mount ones actually work better than the stock ones fyi.
My bike is fully stock except 2 things. It's a 2018 Ninja 400 and has a Fender eliminator (the old one was ugly), kept the stock blinkers and put a Yoshimura fender Eliminator. Also got a slip-on two-bros exhaust. Had the dealership install this. No fuel management needed. 100% worth it. I love hearing the bike start up in the morning and it's saved me a TON when dumb drivers can't check blind spots. Or downtown riding and people start to walk in front of you.
Had to downrate you soon as you mentioned regarding tinted visor at night. I've ridden 8 years all year around and found a tinted visor to be the best addition to night time riding. It takes the glare from car headlights that can distract and knock your planning for the next corner. Especially on country lanes.

You forgot: 8. Getting into biking exclusively for the purpose of motovlogging while having zero skills and wrecking two bikes in six months and still not getting off your high horse.
Spot on. One of the last mods I did to my sport bike was tank pads and it should’ve been the first. I took mirrors off - huge mistake. Couldn’t agree more!
Lean your head into the mirrors to check blindspots, thats what ive always done driving cars and do with bikes, though giving a quick head check doesn't hurt to be sure either.
Yammie Noob, you crack me up like always. Another good clip full of humor. I have been riding for more than 30 years, and almost always, I have to change the mirrors, because either my elbows or shoulders blocks 40% of the rear view.
My goodness I can't believe the amount of time all these people who hate yammie are wasting. For whatever reason they are still watching his videos and trolling about his crashes. He was definitely at fault, but man can you guys move on to other channels if you don't enjoy this one? Is there really nothing productive you can do with your day, maybe you can pick up a book. His videos are smartly done, funny, tons of sarcasm while still managing to be informative. I still enjoy them even though I am a perfect rider, have never made mistakes and would never pass anyone in a curb over a double yellow line (that last one is actually true). Thank goodness he was lucky and nobody got seriously hurt, time to move on.
sergione their tiny cock syndrome won’t let them. They have such sad miserable lives that they have to follow and insult someone who was in an accident to feel like tough guys. All because they take something he says personally, Feckless cunts and keyboard warriors is all they are.
a "starter" bike is a bad idea in general. The idea of throwing money on a bike just to get used to riding, then selling for a loss, is crazy to me. i bought the bike i wanted right after i got my M1 permit (2006 r6). i rode it carefully until i was comfortable and ended up loving it and riding it like a champ. i admittedly dropped it 1 time in the first couple weeks (luckily had sliders installed) because i hit the front brakes way too hard and ended up with only the front tire on the ground and wasnt able to maintain control as i landed. that was my only drop in 8 years of riding that bike. If you have a good head on your shoulders and are somewhat athletic and coordinated, just buy what you want and be cautious. my motivation to drive cautiously was the fact i spent 10k on this motorcycle and dont want to damage it. if you get a well used bike youre more likely to abuse or race it and get yourself into trouble.
Sarah King right, well i am American, as is the video publisher, and the term "starter bike" is not exclusive to countries with new rider restrictions. Many people push new riders to buy a toy first bike regardless of the laws.
I wonder if yammie got permission to use footage from other tubers or just took because he felt like it....the same way he felt like crossing a double yellow line so he could drag knee (rip Porsche)
It falls under the fair usage law. Since he has only taken a small portion of the person video and talked over it. The law is very specific as to what can be considered "fair usage" and what is content infringement. BESIDES that UA-camrs uploading videos are not actually copyrighting their content. ONLY large companies can normally afford to do such a thing. SO really the only thing people can do is to set a Content ID claim. SO as long as you are not taking someones entire video and re-uploading it, using a small portion is actually perfectly fine (even if the content is copyrighted).
Bubble wind screen is functional for the fact that it deflects air higher, benefitting taller riders, reducing the amount one has to tuck on the highway, not for speeding, but for comfort.
The bubble windscreens do have a noticeable function depending on the bike. I'm 6ft and had one on a 650r and noticed the wind was hitting just the top of my helmet instead of blasting me right in the face.
Outstanding performance with some great ideas. Although, if you are looking for sponsors, you may have screwed the whole, sales in aftermarket parts, AND the pooch. Keep up the critical thinking. I liked the choices too. Spot on brother, my brother of my subscription and thumbs up dude.
An exhaust 100% makes your bike easily heard which means easily seen which means safer. You sound like a squid so deep he doesnt even know what a squid is.
Hand grips can offer more grip and cushioning, screens can raise the air so taller riders get more wind protection, full systems do add more power and midrange also noise so you can be heard by other road users, they also lose weight which can make handling improve etc.....
Guilty of the tinted visor, but I carry clear eye protection under the rear seat compartment for when it gets dark. I found out quickly that not being able to see shit at night or flipping the visor up and catching bugs in the eyes isn’t exactly what I call fun. Great video!
I don't mean to be a hater but seriously, stop making videos, please...You shouldn't be allowed to give motorcycle advice in any shape or form for the sack of public safety.
Fool doesn't know a thing, mocked the 300 which I currently have and thinks exhausts don't add power? I only have a cheap aftermarket one and all I can say is it shits on a 300 without one.
Exhausts don’t add powe without proper fuelingr. At most you will gain 3-6 HP. The biggest difference is the drop in weight. On average is 10lbs. That’s a big difference. Especially in a light 300CC bike losing 10lb is a big difference.
Are you joking? My 2014 636 made 119 to the wheel stock with stock exhaust. Added a full titanium M4 with the carbon street slayer and bazzaz fuel management and tuned it in and made + 11 hp. So stop talking about junk you dont know.
If you're a real rider then forget about riding in circles on a track and come here to Germany, but if that's not an option then it sucks to be you... Lol.
Every road is a road course. Germany was fun to ride in. Fast as hell on the autobahn then you could have fun riding to the town down the road 30km. Lots of twistys and then random straights and soft curves to gain some speed.
I'm so enlightened by some of these comments! Oh please tell me more about how the the 5-10 HP net gain from a full system coupled with the 10 lbs saved is so crucial on your STREET RIDDEN super sport. Most of which already accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds, stock from the showroom floor. It'll shave vital seconds off your 2 mile ride so you can pose in front of the bar, coffee shop, etc. that much quicker.
I think some of these depend on perspective. Wind screens: since completing the break in period my "street" bike has seen an average speed over 120mph, and above 150 ticked behind a taller windscreen is a Godsend when it comes bug Impacts. I clearly recall an impact that caught me in the throat causing swelling, and a helmet impact that left me seeing stars. Tinted Visor: I got the interchangeable visors with my helmet and I think I've used the clear visor twice since 2005. Mirrors: Although I never removed mine, they are never pulled out where I can use them. The limited field of vision is not enough for city riding, and at highway speed I only have other riders and supercars passing me. I agree with the aftermarket exhaust unless you modding the engine at the same time and getting a higher flow exhaust to meet the engine's new flow demands.

@@centripetal25 that's a good point. Probably don't shell out a lot of cash if you don't intend to keep the bike but make sure its loud enough to be noticed?
Bar end mirrors have actually improved my vision on my bandits, all I saw with the standard ones was my shoulders
It's funny because you yourself are still a new rider skill wise.
I could not agree more.
According to my calculations it would be "top 0.01 percent"
11 horsepower bro!
Entity Keeper wtf....
I should find a woman first..
Fucking legendary
Rather fuck two 25 year olds than one 50 year old... just say’n...
Haha 😂
Actually, the mirror tint visor offers great visibility at night. I honestly have no idea what you're talking about with that one..
However, I agree with everything else!
The humor in this is toooooo goood. New favorite channel. Just because he is funny. I dont even own or ride a motorcycle.
still the lists. and still alive? amazing.
"SCAMMY PUBES" 😂 😂 😂 😂 I laughed wayyyy to hard
I put a blue diode light under the belly fairing. Added 30 hp! Do it!
I fuckin love your humor, man. Also, I'm a new motorcycle enthusiast, just got my first bike, and much of your content has been extremely helpful. I appreciate all the tips and tricks you give to newbies like myself. Keep being awesome.
Hold me forever, papa. Guide me in smart purchases for you are the way. I’m a dirty noob squid and I do not deserve your mercy.
how does he still have 160k subscribers?
You put bar end mirrors on because most stock mirrors are very difficult to see anything out of, bar end mirrors allow you to get a picture of whats going on behind you without you in the picture. Bar end mirrors also don't vibrate like the stock mirrors do. A lot of stock mirrors vibrate creating a blurry image at specific RPM's. Bar end mirrors solve that problem. You prove again you don't know what your talking about.
A louder exhaust mod is actually not a bad idea for beginners if it makes them heard and noticed by nearby drivers esp when in their blind spots.
Quick tip: don’t ride in blind spots lol people in blind spots on h2s can still die
@@Marshall006 nice quick tip there. but explain to me how you can stay out of blind spots 100% of the time when in traffic
What if you start of a FZ-07 and want to keep it forever. Yoshi sounds blissful on that bike.
Jared Shelton ikr, same with my 50cc derbi :DD
3:10 I am constantly viewing my mirros, both of them
My bike is fully stock except 2 things.
Who else has noticed that Yammie Noob sounds exactly like the "Scammy Pube Guy" (David Cross) at 2:14?
David Cross is Scammy Pube Guy's creepy uncle
Wait, so you need to sell 100 shirts before you will give away a GoPro? So the people who buy a shirt with the hope of winning a GoPro are shit out of luck if you don't sell 100? Doesn't that seem like bullshit?
Well no one is entitle to win anything...
He knows he won't sell 100 shirts, so he won't have to give away a GoPro. He's just trying to push sales.
This is how business works, and that is how it's taught. Don't complain next time you buy 10 extra Mountain Dews and bags of Dorito's every week for three months just for points, only to end up not getting enough for your prize.
probably fulfilled through Amazon's service.....so the gopro should already be paid for.
You forgot:
8. Getting into biking exclusively for the purpose of motovlogging while having zero skills and wrecking two bikes in six months and still not getting off your high horse.
I agree with your tire comment . I changed both of my tires for Michelin Pilot Road 3 and they are awesome.
Spot on. One of the last mods I did to my sport bike was tank pads and it should’ve been the first. I took mirrors off - huge mistake. Couldn’t agree more!
I have a real bike. It's a 2018 Honda Grom😂 Put a full system on it too😂😂😂
I think the first mistake would be being like yammi noob.
"A turboqueer 300" that was good xD
This video was hilarious. Had me laughing the whole time. Well put and i agree with you on each step. Keep up the good work bro.
I put bar end mirrors on so I could see behind me as the stock oems gave me a great view of only my arms! And they look badass. Win win.
I'm newbie. After I watched this video I just said "whoops" 😂
let me guess its a bubble windscreen...
@@gladsonjoseph8247 yeah, sure... 😂
Will frame sliders protect my bike in a head on collision? Asking for a friend.
Bar end mirrors get rid of your blind spot and new grips dont slip in the rain

@@Dub3God what if you dont have owls neck?
HelloPeople YOLO stupid wxcuse
@@Dub3God there is people whos neck wont turn enough to watch behind
Lean your head into the mirrors to check blindspots, thats what ive always done driving cars and do with bikes, though giving a quick head check doesn't hurt to be sure either.
Great video dude. Hilarious breaks with a whole lotta knowledge. You earned a sub bud.
That is true new riders should not over do on there bike or new starter bike because your just getting started and you most likely won't have forever
He just needs to work out how to say all that without sounding like a misogynist dinosaur.
a "starter" bike is a bad idea in general.
Some countries don't allow you to "buy the bike you want" straight off.
Sarah King right, well i am American, as is the video publisher, and the term "starter bike" is not exclusive to countries with new rider restrictions. Many people push new riders to buy a toy first bike regardless of the laws.
this! Also, if you DO mod the bike, keep the parts! That way the next owner can put it back to stock if they prefer.
I never leave comments but I had to say I laughed my arse off with your image choice at 3:36! XD
Like the vid. Still getting rid of my mirrors and getting a new exhaust 😂
Do strap on's kill power?
No. Do you even physics?
If your strap on gets in the way of you being able to shift your body around on your bike you should consider riding without a fake penis.
I didn't know attachable penises were a thing of motorcycle riding?
Woah relax dude it was just a joke...
Not if you're a power bottom.
Death Grips in the grips section? Nice.
Get a photochromatic pin lock insert. clear at night, light smoke during the day. Prevents fogging. perfect!
The bubble windscreens do have a noticeable function depending on the bike. I'm 6ft and had one on a 650r and noticed the wind was hitting just the top of my helmet instead of blasting me right in the face.
Im 14 but can only get an ebike that goes 28mph
Mod that bike, bigger batteries and bigger motor, you'll be doing 60 mph easy
I run an exhaust not for performance, I just like the way it sounds, slip on muffler not full exhaust, #loudpipessavelives
Outstanding performance with some great ideas. Although, if you are looking for sponsors, you may have screwed the whole, sales in aftermarket parts, AND the pooch. Keep up the critical thinking. I liked the choices too. Spot on brother, my brother of my subscription and thumbs up dude.
I'm glad that you're back to be happy :) 5:03
Some things never change, great video Yammie Noob!

An exhaust 100% makes your bike easily heard which means easily seen which means safer. You sound like a squid so deep he doesnt even know what a squid is.
@Malik Martin you can say whatever you want bikes need exhausts
Rev it at 3am lol
Hand grips can offer more grip and cushioning, screens can raise the air so taller riders get more wind protection, full systems do add more power and midrange also noise so you can be heard by other road users, they also lose weight which can make handling improve etc.....
Guilty of the tinted visor, but I carry clear eye protection under the rear seat compartment for when it gets dark. I found out quickly that not being able to see shit at night or flipping the visor up and catching bugs in the eyes isn’t exactly what I call fun. Great video!
Crashing into a a rock then a car huh
I don't mean to be a hater but seriously, stop making videos, please...You shouldn't be allowed to give motorcycle advice in any shape or form for the sack of public safety.
Rusty Butter sack of *pubic safety
7 is so wrong. If u got a 2st exsust gives so much power. And u probably have a carburator so its cheeap to tune
Fool doesn't know a thing, mocked the 300 which I currently have and thinks exhausts don't add power? I only have a cheap aftermarket one and all I can say is it shits on a 300 without one.
ribergzzon gaming not sure this bloke knows what he's taking about..
Exhausts don’t add powe without proper fuelingr. At most you will gain 3-6 HP. The biggest difference is the drop in weight. On average is 10lbs. That’s a big difference. Especially in a light 300CC bike losing 10lb is a big difference.
Tint wiser is of so need in daytime but i get goosebumps seeing people ride with them on. It's like riding at 3 in morning without headlights
LED lights and loud exhaust saves our lives from the cell phone using cagers. Other than that, the video is pretty much spot on
As with any yam video, go ahead and skip the first 60 to 90 seconds of BS, to get to the video.
Lol.
what special is in germany
Every road is a road course. Germany was fun to ride in. Fast as hell on the autobahn then you could have fun riding to the town down the road 30km. Lots of twistys and then random straights and soft curves to gain some speed.
Straight lines at speed are easy. Come to isle of Man. 😎
Greg: I'm working on it! But seriously, I don't ride balls-out, so maybe Belgium would be better?
I’ve been riding motorcycles for 16 years, and he’s not too far off from some of these. Except for the mirrors, I happen to like my bar end mirrors!
Favorite channel right now!!!!!!! Educational and hilarious!!! I'm going to start participating in the bike give aways
THIS COMMENT SHALL RULE THEM ALL
I'm so enlightened by some of these comments!
Love the waltz of flowers in the background. big fan. Thanks, Yammie Noob!
