- A unique Audio Interface for Voiceover and Podcasting, PASport VO was developed in collaboration with The Pro Audio Suite, a popular podcast dedicated to the voiceover business.
PASport VO features Dual Mic preamps, Dual USB interfaces, a vocal compressor, and a sophisticated routing scheme designed to meet the needs of VO professionals. This sets PASport VO apart from other recording interfaces, and makes it quick and easy to record and collaborate with a remote client.
PASport VO adds the ability to patch a client into your session, using the second USB interface to setup a Zoom/Skype/Teams etc., connection. PASport VO lets you use two microphones and switch between them, or mute them at the touch of a button. Both microphones have an analog compressor, to help soften the peaks. The second recording channel can contain the first mic at -12dB (as in MicPort Pro), or the second mic, (as in PortCaster), or even the client audio! Your client/producer will hear you, the recording, or the blend of the two, for instant feedback on the session. Of course Mix Minus is included, to avoid echos. Two Studio speaker outputs with the mute button are also provided, as well as a large, bright level meter.

So cool! I just wish it offered an EQ feature so I could tweak the lows, mids and highs and save it as a preset.

Pretty cool. I wish Julian Krause would test this one, and the MicPort Pro too, while we're at it. He probably still has a long list of audio interfaces to go through, though. :o/

Can you record both channels at once?
Yes, that's one of the modes. There is a switch that lets you do that.

Both mics at once or is it either/or ?
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: You can record three ways: One mic into Channel 1 and a -12dB safety copy into CH2 (safety mode). The second option is to record each XLR to its own channel (podcast mode). The third way is to record yourself to CH1 and your client to CH2 (remote guest mode). You can choose which mode you want by moving a switch.

Yes, it's a specialized mixer with two independent usb interfaces and a sophisticated routing matrix letting you move things around between the computers. Most mixers don't do that and that's why this product is needed.
