I dont get how songs and videos like this only get 200k views and modern day repetitive autotune pop gets millions - makes me sad sometimes. But glad to see there are people out there that appreciate music as good as this

Word - solid assessment my fella
Each of the people with a light are people who’re suffering in some form presumably. The obese lady eating alone at the diner, a hitchhiker, the boy with a dysfunctional (possibly abusive) family..They’re all leaving together at the end so I interpret it as escaping and starting over. I think his repeating “good luck my friend” at the end is like a goodbye.

I started my life over again in 2020, and now....this song made me realize after the rebuild...I finally feel alive again.

I resonate with those lyrics so much ... I was recently dealing with a lot of emotional trauma in my life , it was mentally draining and just countless nights with nightmares and insomnia. And now I'm fighting it snd figuring out how to navigate through this thing called life

Not only is it the best damned song, it's an incredibly powerful video. The meaning behind each scene is mind blowing.
Look up their other Official Video of this song with the Eye. That's the world but I'm not sure what the symbolism of the shape means.

I think it's one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
Heartbreaking. So well done. It makes me so sad that there are so many kids who actually have to live like this.
I have neighbor kids across the street from us that have a life like this. Their mom is always drunk and her boyfriend abuses the kids. They come over all the time to play with my son, and most days I let them. I don’t all the time because I work from home. It’s really sad. I’ll even give them food and such, they scarf it down.
A Evans yeah, I only do so much. I don’t mettle in their personal life - not yet anyway. I just let them hang out. I’m not in any position to play social services, but I’m willing to call if it ever comes down to it.
