It doesnt work dude ... I tried it a lot of times, but oroblem is actually deeper, I spent 4 month for research how to solve that problem and i finally did it! : D I though about grease and put it a lot everywhere, but clicking is not about grease .. problem actually solving very easily by small piece of duct tape in special place in aevery key. This little rubber "cup" where you put the grease, you have to remove it (its removable, don't be afrair you won't break anything) and put under it one or two layesr of small strip of duct tape

Try this beside the other methods: an another source of key noise when the key is returning to its original position an the top hits the plastic house of the keyboard. Right there where you see the red felt. That felt is so thin that it cannot reduce the rubmle created by those hits. An easy method to eliminate this noise is to put thin (about 2mm thick and 2 cm wide) sponge stripes on the keys. Place the stripes (it should not be one piece for the whole length) so that when you assemble the piano the sponges should not be visible below the red felt. So a little bit (3-4mm) further away from the edge of the felt. No need to use any glue as the felt will squeeze well it after assembling. As the sponge is thin it does not affect the action, but when you release a key quickly you will not hear that rumble any more. (btw: I have created the sponge stripes by cutting a larger dark grey sponge by a big and wide sharp knife. This way the thickness can be kept quite even. The sponge came from the packaging of a kitchen tool or something like that.)
Btw: taking out the keys for greasing is much easier if you use a pen. Using the conical end of the pen is a very fast method to take out keys. Not all pens are (thin pens are not) convenient of course, the only thing to be considered to be thick enough for stretching enough (but not too much) the key ends. After finding the proper sized pen you can take out all keys in about 3 minutes.

It happens to me also... You just need to clean the contact ruber. The ruber underneath the keys. Contac ruber just remove and try to use vacuuming to clean dusty area. Somtimes I saw small hair that cause the problem of velocity... Or maybe the contact ruber needs To be replaced.. Don't put your keys on a hot surface.. Or direct sunlight.. It also course the contact ruber to get broken..

. . . and finally: do not ever think of greasing the top of the rubber sensors! I thought that it also adds some noise when you hit the key and put silicon grease there too, but silicon gets into reaction with the rubber and you will end up in uneven keyboard sensitivities. Then the only solution can be to replace the tripple sensor rubbers. . . .

There is no such thing as rubber sensor... Lol.... There's no re action in the ruber.. It works fine with me... Theirs is a repair photo of puting some duck tape on the rubber it helps reducing the noise also.

@@tpatai most of expensive silicon lubricants are safe for rubbers (elastomer's). but to be sure you better avoid applying any lubricant on rubbers, in best case scenario they would become pasty, it would result in applying pressure on the piano key would become noticeably different. or in worst case rubber would become stiff and would need to be replaced, which nowadays almost impossible, at least for moscow russia, where they ask almost third of the piano price even for pair of white and pink grease

@@MarkSomosoMusic thanks for the comment, but I haven’t seeing a video like this in a Yamaha p515 or a Kwai es920. I was thinking in getting a fp90x, but I don’t know anymore because apparently this problem also happens on that specific model. Between the three models I mentioned, which one will you choose and why? I just looking for a piano that could last a couple of years without these problems, but I guess that this is not possible :/

@@MarkSomosoMusic one other thing. I watched a video about keybed, but my issue is not key producing a sound when touching the bottom of the piano, but when the key goes up again and touches the top of the piano.

Thats the problem of Roland Key action the bounce back will have a clunky noise on the black key. My recommendation is to put more Grease on the plastic so when it bounce back it will not make noise..... Kawai is great.. Try kawai... In my experience i love the sound of kawai realy sounds like the shigiro concert grand. I compared it on the grand piano and the digital piano side by side specialy their stage piano

It doesnt work dude ... I tried it a lot of times, but problem is actually deeper, I spent 4 month for research how to solve that problem and i finally did it!
