Since months your transcription is my daily piano world. This piece is a dream and it's so well transcribed, thanks for your hard work on it, Debussy himself would 100% appreciate it.
Dear Artist, I’m here at my work during this afternoon, I was listening again to your sublime interpretation of Debussy’s Prelude… I’m literally speechless, you profoundly touched me with your way to play and your ability to transmit all emotions enclosed in this great unique perl of the great Claude’s repertoire (of course Gryaznov piano version contributes a lot). We all know this composition is kind of magical, unexplainable, mysterious direct path to our Souls and it allows to forget everything of this world and to fly free into Heavens. Please continue to share such Beauty, mankind needs always! Ps: I’m a composer, one day I’ll be so joyful if you’ll decide to play one of my piano works 😀. Thanks again for sharing, subscribed! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤗
Thanks for showing us a great view of your hands throughout the entire video, this is really helpful to people like me who are working on this piece right now. You also do an excellent job of voicing the different lines throughout the composition. I have the Kawai CA49, but the Garritan sounds great! I used to use it with my Yamaha P45. A truly sublime performance. I have been working on this one off and on for months and months now. Your recording is an inspiration!
Beautiful arrangement, first time I'm hearing of it! Your interpretation is very subtle here and I think it encapsulates the essence of Debussy's music very well.
Sincerely, I don't get why you don't have millions subs?! You're incredible! I was amazed from beginning to end. Couldn't stop listening. 10 minutes of pure happiness, I was like in a dream from where I didn't want to wake up! Thank you sooo much!
What a delightful find! I use a Kawai with the Garritan CFX Full myself, and I'm gradually discovering the possibilities of this combo. Your playing is truly superb. Exquisite pedalling and voicing! Thank you! I make arrangements for two pianos, and was even thinking of doing this Debussy, but after hearing Gryaznov's solo version, I can see there's no need! My thanks to him too!
Do you have any advice on what I should spend my time doing at the piano? I've played on and off for many years but it takes me a long time to learn songs because my reading ability is weak; I mostly just stumble through difficult sheet music for weeks+. My technique is just okay, nothing great.
Learning pieces quickly is a matter of pattern recognition obtained through playing many other pieces with similar passages. At the most fundamental level you should have some knowledge of scales, arpeggios, and chords to understand how they sound and also how they fit in the hands. Learning some basic music theory could help, and of course, finding a teacher.
Is this Kawai a digital piano or an acoustic one? It sounds like a concert grand piano, but that round woofer let me to think that it could be digital..... Really a wonderful instrument!!!!!! 👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏
Amazing performance! How do you like the Kawai Novus-10 Action compared to Yamaha N1? Would really appreciate the feedback from someone who plays such demanding classical repertoire. Thank you in advance!
Thanks! I find that the novus action has less initial resistance when pressed than the n1, so it’s less tiring for me to play for long periods of time.

Your playing is beautiful, at some times I really had the impression to hear the orchestra. Thank you for sharing this recording

Is the pianist the transcriber? It is so beautiful!
@@susanhawkins3890 Vyacheslav Gryaznov is the transcriber/arranger :)

The dust on the piano is fine. In fact, it shows how clear and high definition the camera is :D
garritan sounds awesome I missed garritan... now I use VSL CFX and it's better for sure.. but garritan has some mystery that I miss

I think it’s the Kawai NV10 hybrid digital piano.

Hello I have a question , How long does it take you to finish a piece?
Depends on the piece. This one was somewhat challenging so about 1.5 months.
How long did it take you to learn this and is this your own arrangement ?
Very nice
