Hi G, thank you so much for this very helpful video.
I’d like to ask, if we are writing 8 markers with 5 marks for A03, or 16 markers with 6 marks for A03, must there be a balance of both strengths and limitations, or would it be fine to have strengths only or limitations only. Thanks!
it's fine to have just strengths or just limitations but if it says "discuss" then try include both
Thanks for your kind comment.
Personally I'd try to include a bit of both if possible, but it's tough sometimes! If I've only got strengths I'll try to counterpoint a couple.

Need paper 2 and 3 videos! Good vids

@@GalbraithDoesPsych I did!! Is there any chance you would do a video on the contributions of each approach / comparing approaches before paper 2? No worries if not!

Amazing news- well done! 👍
Well I've got cognitive and I've just done psychodynamic. I'll do a comparison one too. Not sure I've got time to do the others as well though!

For the authoritarian personality Q, could you bring in other dispositional factors such as locus of control as a counter point instead of situational factors? I was thinking of trying to implement that when I thought of my own plan to answer the question, but I didn't know if it'd tie in well enough with an obedience question; I didn't know whether it affects obedience or conformity. Also, the main study that I know which supports this is Spector's study, but this involves conformity, which I thought may be difficult to integrate into an obedience question.
Yeah I think that's absolutely fine. Nice. But Spector isn't a good source of evidence, as you point out. You want Holland (1967). Google it 👍
-G
Exactly what I needed for tomorrow. Thanks!
Cheers 🙏
Hope it went okay.

@@GalbraithDoesPsych yess i think it did!! although my timing was so much worse than normal😓 so going to work on that from now until paper 2 + 3
You can do it 💪

personally for the effects of institutionalization, I would mention Bowlby's critical period to further back up why the 1 year old child could recover vs the 6 yr old. Is this correct?
Can definitely see where you're coming from as an attachment can still be formed due to still being in the critical period right? Not sure I'd include it here myself though as you need to apply knowledge of institutionalisation, and that doesn't include bowlby so I don't think it would be credited. I do think you're right though.
