Wow! Thank you so much for creating these videos! The information and visual depictions that are shared have really valuable and educational. They helped me have a better understanding of Biblical Hebrew culture. So incredible!
I love this channel. So interesting and of course it’s wonderful to hear anything about Jesus and His life on earth. Thank you for all your content! God bless you.
Thank you for posting this video. As I am restudying the Matthew 26 account in preparation to preach tomorrow. I notice you that you mention three pressings. Jesus prays and returns 3 times to Peter, James, and John. This cannot be a coincidence.
This was a wonderful illustration of the olive press! Thank-you! I would like to play this clip in our church service to best show a living illustration of this ancient culture of pressing olives. May I please do so? Thank-you /\
We were able to visit that village last year. An additional point to ponder is that Jesus prayed 3 times, asking the Father if it be possible to remove this cup.
Trying to find a vid or doc about The Olive press found In the city of David next to a alter and channel carved in the ground for sacrificial drainage. I've only seen it on a long doc but it's not specifically about that site. If anyone has a link I'd appreciate it.
Would like to come to Israel a second time but when the olives are being harvested, crushed and pressed as well as major festive periods. Eg. Passover, Feast of Alpha, etc
I came here to see if in the process of pressing the olives they will become red. Somebody told me that and I thought it was pretty interesting that basically, they bleed just like our savior.
