The interesting thing about the story of Hazlia’s worship is that Hazlia focused so much on the miracles, and didn’t trust his Caelesors to foster faith first and foremost, that when the miracles ceased the people panicked and rebelled. It validates the Hundred Kingdoms’ Theist mindset on what true divinity is, but also points out the veracity of the Deist side of the power of godliness.
Love all your lore videos, just fully got into conquest and playing the game. Listen to your lore videos on the commute to and from work makes it a lot less painful. Keep them coming :-D
The Lore behind the High Clone Executor is really interesting, as it explains how your life and career as a clone within Spire society can go. It sounds like an even more more messed up version of "The American Dream" where your society tells you that anybody can make it to the top, but the reality is simply exploitative, cruel and cynical.
The worship of Hazlia (in the Old Dominion) is more of a syncretist creed that embraced a dichotomy between the worship of Hazlia and the creed of the various religions that worshipped him in the outlier provinces.

I thought they looked rather tame when compared to other Spires Units, but after looking into them I now agree. They’ve some cool lore!
Another great lore vid! Love hearing about the Old Dominion!
Hey Doug I love the new intro pics. Looks awesome.

These are some of the more freaky units. Reminds me of Shades, but somehow more threatening.
