If you assemble the egg-shaped cutouts, paint them, and then mod-podged them, that would probably work. That way you would also definitely find out if you had the wrong parts before putting all that work into it!

I made decoupage eggs years ago with napkins from special occasions...my sister-in-law's wedding shower, my niece's baby shower, a special 50th anniversary party. I think I'll have to make more to add to my collection. Thanks for the reminder!

Trimming the edges with velvet ribbon would give them a more polished look. I have to go shopping now. 😂

Helpful hint for the 3-D eggs, pre cut the slits then after you glue down the papers, you can file the edges with a nail file. I figured this out when I did a pumpkin 3-D shape like the eggs. It has 3 pieces that fit together and trying to get the tight sides together took a few fails before it looked nice.
I so get the wanting to add to the stash (hoard). There r so many ideas & not enough time! Lol. My guest room/craft room is waaay more craft than guest. 😂 Love ur ideas (even the fails). ❤

I'm a craft hoarder, but in my defense, we live in a travel trailer (that's three people, two dogs and one cat). Until we get a home built and I actually have a craft room all my stash is in storage in our semi~trailer. Referring to your last example, I was able to to decoupage fabric to the eggs and successfully put them together. It was a tight squeeze but well worth the effort.

You need a water pen. So much easier than cutting out the design on the napkin. A real game changer for someone who loves efficiency 😉

I love the carrots hanging on your blanket ladder. So cute! I am guilty of buying too much. I really have to start paying attention to what I already have. I already told my daughter I'm not allowed to buy anymore craft items until I use what I already have. I loved the 3D egg project, even though it was a comedy of errors it still turned out pretty.

Great job, Whitney, I love them all. Even the idea of the mdf eggs interlocking. They do have those mdf eggs a little bigger at the DT this year that dont interlock along with a bunny & a 🥕 You gave me a great idea for them. Thanks for all you do.

Great crafting! I've been on the dud end often! You definitely made lemonade out of the lemons. Beautiful job. I think my favorite is the use it again...and again wreath. Everything is amazing! I just like to make my decor reusable.

Referring to your last example, I was able to to decoupage fabric to the eggs and successfully put them together. It was a tight squeeze but well worth the effort.
