OK, I just wanted to say that. onwards!
I want to take a moment and recognize Skymix here. When it come to Floobing, and Floobing responsibly, Skymix is among the top few who can pull it off like he's merely setting up a cable remote for an old person. No offense, Chesh. Oh, none taken Chesh!
But seriously, he, and Whalefat, took this messy piece of music and cleaned it up without sacrificing the core of what it is. To me, and hopefully to you, that is incredible. And when I say messy, I mean... I went to town in this thing. Unused instruments and plugins laying about, patterns over here and over there, patterns and VST's under the bed, on the walls, even in the ceilings. The mixer looked like a chimpanzee (my distant ancestor) tried to make love to it, got denied, and went on a rampage...
I could go on and on...
Skymix, with the help of Whalefat, you guys deserve recognition for not only this, but for your own music as well. Let me know if you want me to provide links and I'll get right on it.

The whole copyright claim against yourself reminds me that a few months ago, youtube creators would actually pay to have original music made for them in which the composer would give the UA-cam creator full copyrights to.
The creator would then place that music in their videos and upload the video privately.
Once youtube was done processing the video, they would copyright claim their own video before releasing it to the public.
I believe someone documented the reasons for this method and what common sites were used to pull thos off under "How to Break UA-cam" or something of the like.
UA-cam is doing what the grunt that got his hands stuck in the machine did.

Holy shit it sounds so clean. The original was great but I really how I can hear more instruments and synths clearly.
I always thought everyone could here it the same way I could hear it in my headphones. I just chalked it up to the rendering and converting processes. I'm heart broken that this is the first time you're hearing everything else in the song. But also excited and relieved! I put a lot of work into these songs, I cram them full of melodies on top of melodies but in the end, I was just crowding them and smushing them together. No more if that nonsense!
@@Cheshyre Yeah, for example when listening to the original and comparing to this, I wasn't hearing some things, such as the demonic cackling at 5:22 . If I listen VERY CLOSELY i can hear it's rhythm sometimes, but only if I think about it (taking a listen to that part on the remaster first can help me concentrate on where the cackle should be), so my mind knows a cackle is supposed to be there. With the remaster, on the other hand, I can hear it, it's not overpowering, but I can hear it. I made sure to even check the Newgrounds uploads (since UA-cam compresses stuff afaik) and I couldn't hear the cackle on the original there either. These are just nitpicks, though, your music's still great with or without remasters honestly. Besides, I'm not a music producer either (and don't have headphones good for that either, just for casual listening), so who knows, maybe others with better headphones can hear the details even in the original to some extent.

Fun fact: i’m 18 now, and i haven’t stopped listening to cheshyre’s music since i was a kid, something about his music stands out so much more than everything else i listen too. He definitely deserves way more attention.

Im super excited for Madness Combat 12 to come out. I am gonna love the animation that Mr. Krinkels has been working very hard on, but if im gonna be completely honest, im WAY more excited for the crazy head boppin’ tunes your gonna bring in to the world!

It's so weird listening to these remasters. I loved the originals, and a lot of the things that got tuned for the remaster are part of the reason I loved them. That little bit of extra grunginess really fit the mood of the animations.
On the other hand, the clarity of the instruments that we now have makes for a close to completely new listening experience. It's really really nice. I've listened to the old ones and new ones back to back a couple of times and its hard to say I like one more than the other.
I love this comment, you've clearly thought things through, and done some comparisons, and figured out what it is you enjoy about both. So I'm going to do the same.
The remaster is great because it brings out all those other little parts of the song that don't really ever get noticed. Melodies upon melodies upon melodies...More so in my other songs but still, there are some here too. It really is like a new song because of those details that got brought out!
On the other hand, I agree that some of that classic grunge got "dressed up nice" which is very NOT grunge. Those gnarly and sharp edges of the song were softened and filed down.
But the problem lies with my lack of knowledge about sound design in general. I have recently spent hours and hours researching, testing, applying, and learning when to pull out the chainsaw, grind the barbed wire, and throw it all in a lawnmower, and when to clean things up, show off those marble floors, and blast that high powered lazer towards the moon.
And none of this would have happened at this point in time without Skymix. I am blown away by his talent and lucky enough to pick his brain about a few things.

Agreed friend! As a big music geek I like hearing the clarity of the notes in this song because it’s friggin genius, but the original has such atmosphere and tone in that muddiness. It adds something. Kinda like how in some classic heavy metal, the down tuned guitars kinda sound like an ass shitting gravel, but it’s part of the experience.
I love how this ost has that 'What have you done!?' vibe to it, The beat, the whirling sounds and the picking up pace of the song tells you that whatever the hell's coming, it ain't good and you better run away from it.
After quite the years without madness, a certain game with a blue haired boy that likes to rap and our favourite clown made me feel the nostalgia, and here i am. This remaster is as fire as the original, i will patiently wait for MC12

@@Cheshyre When I go back and listen to classic Expurgation, I can faintly hear the violins in the beginning, but I never noticed them until listening to the remaster. I really hope some of the other Madness tracks get cleaned up like this, they are badass as hell.

Listening to the song again, I realize something- while the song absolutely SLAPS, there are hints of a somber melody. I think that's supposed to be representing of Sanford's confusion, dismay and overall suffering of having lost Deimos, being sent to Hell, and getting pummeled and worn out in said hell. I love it. The song slaps because it's- well- Madness Combat. Hank is kicking all sorts of ass, but in the end, Sanford is still in pain and suffering- the man's probably had enough. And of course- the circus music, as Tricky is the guy who's essentially RUINING all of Nevada- if not, ALL of reality. I love it so much, good job Chesh.

Absolutely clean remaster of the song by Skymix. I still prefer the way it sounds originally, but this version allows me to hear the many things that couldn't properly be heard in the previous version, so massive props for that.
There's always so surreal about Madness Combat music. It's chaotic, yet has order. It sounds like something that you've heard before but just *not quite* something you've ever heard. It's hard to even describe, really.
The remaster sounds awesome, though.

i dont know how but cheshyre makes the perfect music, like for a series like madness, his music makes sense, it fits the theme and the pacing, every song is just amazing, how this guy can pump banger after a banger is a mystery, that id rather not solve since sometimes its better to shut up and listen!
The original feels mor chaotic and epic, but this one is like made for enjoy every little aspect you don't hear in the original. It's a masterpiece either way.
Madness Combat is my childhood and watching it get such BANGER tracks is certainly awesome.

Probably the coolest madness combat fight ever. Tricky is easily the coolest antagonist simply because he loves a good fight. Hank outright is a badass simply because of how much abuse he took. I cant explain such an awesome series....
