the legend says that somewhere in nevada, they *all* are vibin' to this song till this very day as whenever anyone's reading this honestly i can see myself doing this and i will, till i become deaf
the screams in the background describe: that this is the final battle. all the soldats and agents that's lives were taken by hank are screaming at auditor to destroy hank and free them from this cycle of pain and misery, seeing their friends and partners get killed in the most gruesome ways by none other than Hank J. Wimbleton himself. but with not magic, not luck, by pure skill, hank still stands and tries not to lose his final friend, keeping him sane: Sanford. who will win and finally get to catch their breath? we will see..
Honestly it's impressive how nearly every song madness has fits so well with the episode it's in. This one especially. It gives this chaotic, dreadful feeling, while also being quite fast paced, making it a perfect fit for mc10. Given how the entire episode goes so fast but is chaotic every second of the way. With this sense of dread with how it's unsure if sanford and hank, even with his mag enhancements, will be able to take down the auditor.

IMO the most hopeful/cathartic sounding Madness song. Like when the Auditor erected the platform and started summoning the black flames. But both Hank and Sanford fearlessly rose to the challenge and pushed the Auditor on the backfoot. It feels right. Love your Madness soundtracks, man, always have. This, MK 6.5 and Hardcore Fantasy are my favorites. Stoked to see what 🔥 you bring for MK12.
This song describes well the episode. Other episodes also have their musics that fill with 'em, but this one fits the most. *Agony, pain, desesperation, insanity, luck, unluck and "you do not kill clown, CLOWN KILLS YOU!"* Thanks Chesyre for the good songs (Sorry i'm late)
This song really captures the situation of Hank finally fighting against the leader of the organization that has tormented him for a big portion of his life. Very well done man! Also, putting Calliope and Clown Song of Death samples as foreshadowing to The Auditor absorbing Tricky was a really genius move
You know, im never gonna forget the day that i listened to the MC soundtrack and got into cheshyre, hell, this is how i got motivated to improve music. Not only that, but i then knew cheshyre for his other songs, like Banshee, Samhain, Chasing the devil (I believe it was called that) holy crap cheshyre, you've done a shit ton for me
This song is easily your magnum opus in my eyes. It's so incredibly thematically appropriate; It's Hank and Sanford's last stand against the Auditor, a rising conflict that bounces back and forth between the two forces. The music's rising tension and complexity adds so much to it, especially the entire spectacle of the Auditor's retreat where it comes to a head (1:20). One of the most memorable moments in the series, and it's largely because of that section of the song. Can't forget all the leitmotifs and callbacks to previous OSTs, like Consternation, Depredation, and Inundation, which feels all the more significant when you think about how this episode is bringing those ones to closure. We see Hank back up again thanks to the sacrifice of Deimos, Tricky returning to fuck with reality once again, and that there's still someone capable enough to hold their own against the Auditor in Jebus's stead. It's the crown jewel of the whole series to me. While 9.5, Dedmos, and 11 might have stunning visuals, this takes the cake in terms of sheer finality and tension. It's peak Madness.
I can hear callbacks/leitmotifs for Consternation and Clown Song of Death but not Inundation or Depredation. Out of curiosity, could you show me the timestamp with Inundation's leitmotif? I'd be curious to see if I could hear another reference that I might've been missing out on all this time
I would see the grunts and hank in the newgrounds page when i was a kid and just downloaded music from geometry dash and wondered "why do these guys have no eyes" Now i joined this community 6 months ago and god damm it has been an amazing trip.

@Jing Bot I'm from Romania and most people I interrogate seem to prefer the times before the revolution, because all we have now are corrupt socdems. Including my parents. They were actually doing great before all that happened. But say what you will.
Think I've rewatched MC10 so many times that I can see the entirety of the episode play out in my mind while listening to this. It's just that good and memorable. Also remember frequently checking out any updates regarding MC11 back then, good times.
This soundtrack is probably the most impulsive in the series, and SkyMix made it even better. Also, the music video is well formed and looks very good.
I love the Madness series for the fact that there are absolutely no breaks. Or even time to process anything. Between the end of MC 9 and the start of MC 10, the only real break is when Hank and Sanford play Rock, Paper, Scissors. And that was like 3 seconds.
Hi, a remaster of MC6.5 will not be possible unfortunately, Cheshyre lost all the project files of MC9 and below to a hard drive failure a long time ago.
@@Cheshyre Hell yeah. From experience i know that with multiple protects it takes time, but its great to hear that its on your mind to remake some of those classics.
The siren that keeps playing in the background almost sounds like a scream - feels like Nevada itself is rejecting the madness and just wants it to end
Didn't the Improbability Drive get destroyed? It said "Normality Restoration In Progress", I'm pretty sure. Which means Nevada IS rejecting the madness.
Deimos: *dies* Death: *walks next to his soul* Deimos: Was I a good character? Death: You were the best. That's why I give you this *shows Deimos "Dedmos adventures"*
When I first started picking through the soundtracks of each episode, this one didn’t really ring with me, however over time I’ve grown to appreciate, and at this point I think this is my favorite track of them all, it feels segmented yet one giant package you can’t really split apart. The beginning with its siren and end with its repeating beat are wonderful, and the middle carries this track to the best it can be
Even thought I only recently got into MC, this is is going to become one of my biggest Story influences and inspirations for me in a few years, it's just so Unique! Thank you Cheshyre, Krinkels, and everyone who's worked on Madness Combat over the years
MADNESS Combat just wouldn’t feel right in the slightest without your tracks, Cheshyre. You’re truly something special. Thanks for making the series really shine with Papa Krinks.
I'm new to the Madness but it really brings me back to some similar things I watched when I was younger, for me watching this is like watching one of those nostalgic shows from the past even though I didn't watch Madness Combat, wasn't a Newgrounder back in the day so I missed out on a lot of cool stuff, it's just crazy that even though I just started watching it recently now that I'm older it feels like something I watched in the past. If I did ever watch Madness when I was younger I would have loved it just as much if not more than I do right now, there's just something about series like this that makes them unique, they have their own genre and it's really hard to describe, but if I had to dumb it down I would call it a corridor shooter series, I don't know what it is about corridor shootouts that just seems so classic to me. A long corridor with indistinguishable if not just basic features allows for a lot of creativity and strategy.
If you're gonna listen this and the original at the same time, first start this one and then the original as this one has a teeny tiny delay at the beginning.
1:21 fits so well with the animation I could sob every time I listen to this How could such a funky beat fit a sudden making of a dystopian gods throne?
Man, you adapt the music so well that I focused more on the music than the animation. MC10 is always playing loudly in my head while I'm on the bus, going to school or somewhere. You are one of the rare people who do their job properly and care about their followers.
This makes me tear up so fucking much listening to this again. Hearing all those old songs come back bolder and harder than before? *_FUCK_* that hits me deep. If this really was the finale of Madness and there weren't any more, I would be just as satisfied as I am now - the episode was fucking legendary and so is this song. Even today the madness is still going, and I'll forever stay on the ride, eternally going through and around Nevada. Been a fan since like 2006-07 and never regretted it.
Man let's take a moment of silence so we can listen to this incredible piece of art, and lay down an f in the chat for those people who never got to enjoy those good old days of Madness Combat. Now shall you bring back the nostalgia or shalln't enjoy this music not only because it's a fine piece of art and because it brings nostalgia to those days, but because it's still an *e p i c* song even to this day.
Pretty good remaster. Most of the differences are pretty subtle up until 6:30, it all sounds very nice though. Though to this day I'm still curious about where that scream is sampled from
Im so glad that one guy made that mod on that game, i knew i saw the characters from somewhere but then i just remembered when i saw tricky! In hindsight, Madness Combat is basically what happens if The Warp seeped into a concentrated area in Nevada in the 20th century. Jebus could even be considered a psycher.

In first time, i doesn't love this music, but after re-listening, i started to love this.
I'm glad you gave it another chance! Thanks!

I love the Madness series for the fact that there are absolutely no breaks. Or even time to process anything. Between the end of MC 9 and the start of MC 10, the only real break is when Hank and Sanford play Rock, Paper, Scissors. And that was like 3 seconds.

Like how this theme not only references to one track but TWO tracks.
Those tracks being: Madness 7's theme and Clown Song of Death.
Ouh my god one of my fav songs remastered, this is heavenly. This gives me hope that Madness 6.5 can get a remaster too
Hi, a remaster of MC6.5 will not be possible unfortunately, Cheshyre lost all the project files of MC9 and below to a hard drive failure a long time ago.

The siren that keeps playing in the background almost sounds like a scream - feels like Nevada itself is rejecting the madness and just wants it to end
Apparently, Cheshyre said the "sirens" were originally samples of someone screaming, so you're not far off.
the siren in the background sounds more like the trumpet sound that an elephant makes
i mean, reality basically shat itself once the Auditor was about to unknowingly absorb the clown.
Didn't the Improbability Drive get destroyed? It said "Normality Restoration In Progress", I'm pretty sure.
Which means Nevada IS rejecting the madness.
