Your story is truly inspiring. Thanks for this video, it was a great deal with me!
Thanks a lot!
Always consistent, cheers dude!!
Thank you 😊
THANK YOU BRO. KEEP PUSHING WELL
Thank you for information.
That's was what i would looking for.
That was really helpful
Thank you so much ❤❤
Proud of you..... indeed of the the most helpful video on UA-cam ❤ Jazakallah khairun.
Can you please make a video on how IMGs will get into residency if the scoring system in USMLE is changed to Pass/Fail? As you know the scoring system was a great support for IMGs specially for the countries where there is lack of exposure to research for students. 😔 Please make a video on this. Thinking about this gives me panic attack 😞
Thanks Doc. This was very helpful.
Super useful video, thanks.
Absolutely agree with u sir!❤️❤️
you explained very well
Thanks!
ER Doc here ! Good stuff man ! Congrats again.
Thank you 😊
Nice informative bro. Thanq
Highly insightful! Thank you Dr Asaad 💯

First of all I'm happy to see one of my people (Arabs) have made it ... I would like to follow your 3 stages approach but I want to ask you how to implement Anki ?
I have seen so many videos regarding Step 1 preparation and honestly, your videos made the maximum sense to me without giving me anxiety attacks. You talk about achievable goals, limited resources and wonderful explanation of how to use each resource. Thanks a ton. These videos are immensely helpful. 👍👍👍👍👍
Glad to hear that!
Congrats! 🔥🤩
Thank you 😊
I just found about your channel. I am thinking on taking the steps and i was stressing a lot but you make this feel like something anybody can do if they work hard. Thank you bro, the amount of money on therapy sessions you saved me from expending are going into STEP material 😂
Good Luck!
This channel has a promising future. Editing and animations can be improved but the information mentioned can yield fruitful results. Also I’d love to know your opinion regarding Anki and whether it is a useful study strategy. Can’t wait for more videos.
YES PLEASE me too about #anki
I don't use Anki but I am gonna make a video about that soon
@@MalkeAsaad thx
Thank you brother for giving the NRMP data link
Thanks a lot brother 👍🏻
Thank you 😊
Thanks a lot.
Thank you
Thank you Dr. Asaad , would you mind sharing your Step 2 CK experience video as well? It would be greatly helpful!
Coming next Saturday
@@MalkeAsaad Thanks so much!
Hello Malke,
I have just entered my second phase of preparation and was noticing that many of my friends would say that they want high scores but those scores are generally not needed for their specialty, after you too sharing this same thought makes me feel better about my thinking.
I just found your page and I am so glad that you are willing to help through your videos.
Heaps of appreciation to you Doctor!
Thank you
Can you do a video explaining more your study strategies ??
I'll make a whole course about that
thank you so much sir
Congratulations Dr. Malke I want to ask you a question from your experience
What does it take to get a very high score like your score ??
A very high level of IQ or a lot of preparation and perseverance with a normal rate of IQ ???
In other words, does a lot of preparation for people with normal IQ levels enable them to get as high a score as yours ??
I hope you will answer me.🌸🌸🌸
Thank you, Dr. Asaad. That was very helpful. Any chance you can make a video on note-taking and reviewing.
I will! Thank you for the suggestion!
Yes plz i would like to have guidance regarding note taking as well
@@MZ02017 I made a video about that
Hi , i'm from Colombia and i always see some of your videos. I wanted to know how much do you spend to prepare ? 6m , 1 yr ?
And which NBME do you recommend to start and at end of preparation ?
Hello sir! I'm confused as to when to appear for the step 1. I'm in 2nd year now and I've not yet started preparing for USMLE. What would you suggest? When should I appear for the step 1 so that I start my preparation accordingly? Should I just focus on my university exams and start preparing for step 1 during my internship or should I start it now?
thanks ASAD
Could you do a Step 2 CK video too? Thank you.
Coming soon
Great experience ! Question ! How long did you study ? You take step 1 when ypu were already in doing research in the US ? Or in home country before
Hey Malke can you also make a similar video for step 2 ck please.
Thank you! You have really helped me out! By the way, did you watch videos? Such as pathoma videos? Or reading the books is enough for the first stage of building the basis? 😁
You can use videos for concepts you couldn't understand from books
I'm glad Step moved their scoring to Pass Fail. Now I'll stop getting videos that pop up with people bragging about their grades and talking about the same materials over and over.
Amazing advices❤thanks
kindly can u share experience of residency in gynecology obstetrics.i will b waiting for this thank you
Thankio❣️
Insane! A video on 2ck would be much appreciated. 🔥
Definitely
Please make a video on step 2 Ck. Thank you I’m advance
How was step 1 for you bro?
Coming soon
Congrats man! You worked hard.
Goal should be getting education adequately rather than memorizing irrelevant shit and mastering standardized tests. But who am I?
Tests are a way to check your knowledge.
Such a great advice and stellar score! How long did you take from the beginning of your preparation to the test day?
I'm making a special video about that
@@MalkeAsaad please make a video on this, also waiting for it. Thanks!
I want to appear in USMLE examination in 2023, but I want to start my preparations from this year.
I already have kaplan notes and books (2020). Am I Suppose to buy 2021/2022/2023 videos?(since I'm appearing in 2023?
also do kaplan notes changes with years?
Hello! Great video! What where your scores on the Uworld self assessments and NBME exams?
Very close to my score
Thanks for this, could you please discuss the recent changes coming up to step 1 (pass/ fail) and how this will change how we prepare as FMGs/ IMGs? Does it make sense to take step 2 before step 1? When did you take step 1 during your process? After second year?
I recommend you take STEP 1 before STEP 2 and focus on getting a good score in STEP2
Well done! Great video with valuable information. What's your opinion on Sketchy pharma and micro? Does it worth the time to watch the videos or is it better to review FisrtAid multiple times?
If you understand the topics from the books, then no need to
Nice video
thank you DR Asaad !
when do you think we should start Uworld ? after finishing each chapter of first aid ? (system-wise)
Either after you finish FA or after each chapter. I prefer after finishing FA but familiarize yourself with the question style by ready a few questions a day
Thsnk u
What would be your advice as now step 1 is going to have a pass and fail criteria only then how does the above strategy would you modify for it? Plz guide.
If i use for example kaplan for biochemistry as a main resource in collage is that good or use harper or lippincott i ask for all subject???
Could you told us more about assessment exam howmuch you did and exact time you did the assessment?
Close to my exam score
thankyou so much for the breakdown of the USMLE Step 1 experience, Can you explain a little bit on how you managed your time with uni and step 1 as I am studying in Europe and I am in my 5th year. thankyou
It is challenging. Time management is key. Also studying for USMLE will help you for your school
Sir iam looking for a study partner.iam really interested for exam.iam a pediatrician in my country.so is there any study group which can guide us or ican take help for exam
Boards and beyond instead of kaplan lecture notes what do you think?
Thank you for your tips! What do you think about videos? Specifically, Boardz n Beyond, Sketchy and Pathoma?
only to help you understand the info in the first stages of studying

Sir,did u do uworld twice?how much u got after first pass?I am done with 35% of uw and have only an average of 49%..some of the questions I have never even heard before:(
Thank you so much
Where can we find scores of step1& step 2 for the last match ?
I added the link in the description
What is 2 web site you use as assessment tool ? I hear the NBME but what is the other one?
Dr malke that means step one is the first exam to determine the speciality one deserves specifically how is it for neurosurgery
Thank you for this video! 💙.. I have a question
As a med student in Syria what do you think is better :
1_ studying the German language
2_ preparing for the USMLE exam
And keep up the good work 👍
Hey Malke thanks for the video do you feel that it would be more appropriate to start with uworld topic by topic early on in your study or save it till the end when everything has been finished ?
Depends on your base. If strong base, start UW; if not, start with a study material then come back to UW
@@MalkeAsaad wonderful thank you for the response !
How long did it take you to prepare for step 1??
Hi Malke, an old IMG here. How long would it take me to get ready for step 1 studying for 4 hours daily. I'm a single mom. Thanks
Hi doc plz what about
B&B videos and slides + first aide as a directly source for step1 ???
Thanks for your great work🌹🙏🏻
I am studying in Egypt (2 year)
If I want to start studying from now
Are Kaplan books good at this stage ?
Yes
Thank you! how long was your preparation period?
I'm making a special video about that
Can u do a video on strategy for pass/fail exam pattern?
coming soon
I’m a 6th yr international medical student (our medical school is 7 yrs) and was wondering wether to study for it now along with medicine and surgery which is my current curriculums. My friend told me if I studied for it now, it would make me fail both my curriculums and step 1, while I think I can study for it for 10 mos along with my curriculums any advice ?
Can you help us with how to answer step 1 questions I mean the strategies
Is it okay to use the usmle step 1 version 2021 that i already have to study for my exam that will take place in 2024??
The USMLE test is really frustrating, I can't believe I failed again after studying so much🥺🥺😓😭😭
Well I've taken the step 1 exams for the second time now and still didn't succeed, i wonder how those who succeeded did it

when did you do your step1 exam ?.. and if i want to match in special surgery and now Iam in last year in my medical school. the better is to do elective and return to home to do ck or travel to us after doing step 1 and ck? due to financial limit

as a Syrian doctor do face any problem to get visa to usa?
I did Med school 15 years ago
I had to quit for personal reasons
I am able to take step 1 now…but my knowledge of medicine is not good due to gap.
Should I just use first aid and uworld or should I include other resources as well to compensate for shaky knowledge?
