Hey cxdy! I’m still watching your video while I work on something at work. Just wanted to comment something before I forget to do it later.
A tip I found that helped me was putting the breaks through fruity slicer (maybe sliceX but I never tried it.) With slicer, it matches the loop to the project BPM, and you can time stretch the chops.
Another thing that I haven’t tried yet, is replacing some of the chops with percussion or other rule breaking sounds. I think Machine Girl does that. I like that the first break was just hats or something simple. I think that’s a great way to guide the listeners to the drop.
