Turn your phone sideways so you can get the whole freaking picture and are able to appreciate the scene much more. I’m no film expert or anything close to that but it seems like a basic thing that a lot of people suck at.

My Dad and I were fishing off the coast of Tweed Heads, past Cook island. (Australia) we are just having a beer, and this friggen white pointer, slowly glides up out of know whether and it bloody stops, and no sh!t looks at us! This massive eye. I seriously almost sh!t myself, then we started frothing at the size of it. It started circling our boat, now the boat was 22 foot, and this monster was 3 ft longer than our boat, we couldn’t believe it. Then it stopped and looked at us again and then just glided down. Then we packed up in record time and got outta there. While surfing we have seen lots of sharks (I’m now hyper vigilant ) but never as big as the one off Cook island. We later found out that one like that had been seen off Byron Bay and further up the coast. That was many years ago, but I often think how old it was and if it was still alive and how big it could be now? Anyway Google sharks in the Gold Coast, tweed coast/northern river and read/watch the sightings and shark attacks… Some Hectic sh!t has happened around here… I’m going for a surf in the morning! Yes, it 100% is a Basking shark. Rounded trailing dorsal is the easiest identifier (Whites have acute vertical dorsal. Also the white spots on the back are clearly visible. Not to mention Whites have muck wider body shapes.
Deep Blue is 22 feet long. She was 20 feet when spotted in 2015 (Video on UA-cam). Great White Sharks can live up to 70 years old. And they can continue to grow all their lives. So Deep Blue I believe will grow to the size of Jaws (25 feet) in my opinion

That's documented to be true, except for submarine in South Africa. That's why this is so weird. If the cameraman did his dang job, we could actually tell. Another idiot who doesn't know the difference between a basking shark and a white shark ! I watched the video 6 times and stopped it at the sharks head and it's definitely a GREAT WHITE SHARK! I have seen them up close !!!! It's about 23 feet.
Since you can't really see much due to shoddy filming it's hard to tell...all you can reallly see is the big tail keel which is like a great white but also like a basking shark, and it's acting more like a basking shark

Yes, it 100% is a Basking shark.
Rounded trailing dorsal is the easiest identifier (Whites have acute vertical dorsal. Also the white spots on the back are clearly visible. Not to mention Whites have muck wider body shapes.

Deep Blue is 22 feet long. She was 20 feet when spotted in 2015 (Video on UA-cam). Great White Sharks can live up to 70 years old. And they can continue to grow all their lives. So Deep Blue I believe will grow to the size of Jaws (25 feet) in my opinion

Have ya ever gone deer hunting, or hunting of any kind (not a put down btw)... as most hunters can attest to, whenever the adrenaline first kicks in & your heart rate ramps up, you automatically begin to shake - it's just human nature, but unfortunately by the time your nerves calm down nature has usually moved on.
I personally have nerve damage, so my shaking never really goes away, but that's also why I edit out the shake, or as much as possible, from every video before I bother uploading them to any platform. Lol
