Is Texas State park police the same as a Game Warden?

Both Game Wardens and Park Police Officers are licensed state peace officers. Game Wardens are assigned to a county and Park Police Officers are assigned to a park.

This was one of the things I wanted to do after high school. I always hate seeing people park on the grass, get too close to dangerous wildlife, or just abuse nature.

I've had many athoratizm landen encounters with the officers at TX state parks. They do things like prowl in the bushes watching your group to see if you're drinking. We spend all of our close trips in the Ouachitas and usda land now, it's for the best anyway, TX stape parks doesn't have a lot of backpacking or true nature, just over run short trails and rvparks.
