- Hassan al-Moghani, a Palestinian who is documenting the events in Gaza, met with his friend Deeb, one of “the last people” to leave al-Zaytoon neighbourhood on Saturday. Deeb shared his experiences and the difficulty of leaving his home “with nowhere to go”.

Only palestinians. They lived through israhell occupation for decades with steadfastness and only some flee abroad for safety. Most of Palestinians were just internally displaced, detained in israhell prisons, or martyred.

If an entire neighbourhood was wiped out anywhere in the west like that, we would have mourning events for a month, have 24/7 news coverage about every aspect of the crisis and surrounding information for months, we would dedicate a date and holiday to it in the calendar and every year we would bring it up and say "never forget".
