It’s really that pitch bending noise makes it so unique sounding
Fr dude said all that like it was regular piano keys to begin with
Either there's an effect or a filter carrying that particular sound
the chords are most of it
@@greenxblood The effect is part of the they used omnisphere preset
@@jvpersonal9067 nope they clearly used Grossbeat, the most basic effect every producer on fl studio must know
The sound is what makes this unique asf
Yeah that's pretty much all of music theory, take as much time as you need.
@@justdom866 i dont think you understand what music theory is. the comment you replied to was saying the instrument used is what makes it unique. music theory is just loose guidelines used to help create music. this comment had nothing to do with music theory
@@Eez333 you are nothing and your argument is theoretical
@@Eez333 it's in relation to how music theory alone does not make a sound unique or special necessarily
@scotiar05 no, he was right. Music theory is a loose set of rules to correctly make a good piece of music. but finding the correct sound is the hardest part of creating music.
Whole time the producer was just high and played what he liked
This^ its not that complicated
Yes but knowing the theory will enable you to pull this stuff out at will
@@zekiel2574 sometimes it’s not even theory it’s just having a good heat after a blunt 😭
"if it sounds good, it is good."
-duke ellington, GOAT of big bands
@@groovygamers1 It’s talent. Hence why it’s unique
this makes me wanna learn music theory
you should bro
Trust me it's worth it, I've been learning and man it's made my music sound 10x better
@@Sxcottie man I cant keep avoiding it u got any resources u used?
@@LuhDuckster i mostly learned from making chords in fls piano roll, but a UA-camr i recommend is "hack music theory" they make good music theory videos
@@Sxcottie thanks bro ill check it out 🙏
The sound design on it really makes it its so soothing with the pitch bending and delay effects
its just omnisphere preset
There’s also the pitch bend at the end of every bar
It’s an arp
Indeed it is
@@tildenpointer7368yeah it is but its also pitch bending with automation
How is it done?
@@ghostfrieza2904 I’m not sure about the official song but I put the pitch setting to 14 and made an automation clip that resembles two sharp curves pretty close to each other and than copy and pasted it where it goes in the loop and it sounded very accurate.
Bro explained the simplest chord progression in the book and expects me to be impressed
these are producers not composers , plus it's trap related stuff , so don't expect much
@@OAmeen I agree but production entails composition of some degree tho
Literally the most basic beginner chord progression, my 10 year old brother can do better and he’s not even a producer just a piano player.
@@deafwalkerrrrr552 producers who don't compose are an L
bro no cap
you are so underrated
and genius
thank you!
Everyone is been producing music for even a week knows this lol
Basic middle school music theory you should look at what jazz musicians can do
Bro literally took one of the most popular chord progressions and called it perfect 💀
@@boof1421 I mean to be fair, this isn't too far away from the famous 6-2-5-1 turn around chord progression in Jazz.
the arp is truly what makes this mel hit
one of finest melody ever made in history
Gamelan wheel omnisphere
ty
gud lookz bruh
Facts. It’s not as deep as everyone thinks 😂😂 the drums are the more impressive part
Producer: i just clicked randomly, and i loved.🙂
I think it should be noted that this progression is in A minor, and that the 6 chord is major, 5th is minor and the 1st is also minor.
so what
@@FlorissMusic important context
@@boomer7393 but you didn’t say anything about the chords, just if they’re major or minor. but almost every chord progression has major and minor chords
@@FlorissMusic it is important context, looking at those chords I was confused why he was calling those the 6, 5, and 1 chords as that wouldn’t be the right type of chords in a major key, in a minor key those *are* the right chords, a 6-5-1 chord progression in A minor. For the parallel major key of A minor the chord progression would be 4-3-6, which is another lovely chord progression
@@FlorissMusicdetails are important😃
Bro its not the chords its the sound.
Music theory is quite amazing to actually see in action
LLX🕊️❤️
bro created new jazz
Bruh anyone can throw together a progression it’s the sound design and selection they make this good and unique sounding
It’s actually the pitch shift effect that makes it unique. It’s a regular set of chords with a pitch shift added to it
This chord progression would be found in everyones old beginner projects, nothing impressive but the post processing on the arp is what made it impressive
An authentic cadence such simplicity but so powerful
It’s that omnisphere preset that make it great
FL scale selection clutch
The effect is also super freaking cool.
GnR “you could be mine” has this Chord Progression too.
Rip, he wasn't a perfect person but near the end he was a good role model that some people really needed
This chord progression is very common in DnB, or at least in my music haha
It's common in almost every genre.
You saving careers here man
this video is gold
Someone actually in fl studio talking about the number system which i fully agree on as well. 6-5-1 is a popular progression or 2-5-1 or 1-3-6-2-5-1 so many of them
Iconic piece
I did not see the first second of this, so I genuinely thought you meant the Moonlight Sonata
But why are you implying this isn't basic music theory and every song doesn't already use this? Yes, dominant chords resolve to tonic chords. This really isn't as unique or as perfect as you're making it out to be.
long time no see brodie
great to see you doing well
new jazz chord progression
Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Wish I coulda worked with X 🐐🏆
Chimatasi anche cadenza perfetta
I accidentally use this progression just feeling out for vibes sometimes and it’s definitely a strong resolve
GOAT!!!!!! THANK U FOR UR VIDEOS!
xxx was a genius. realy sucks that we lost him
Great stuff, could you do analysis of longer songs like cinematographic music ? That would be so cool
“Perfect”
Its actually a sample from a BMW i8 door alarm
Invert that last chord so it's tonally closer to the first two. It will make more sense that way.
explained this very well!

@@manji5
Thank you
Its actually 4 3 6 progression. U end in A minor chord which is 6th in this key.
The key is A minor so 651 is correct
Omnisphere Galilean wheel with a pitch bend
Gamelan*
i remember when people gone crazy for this melody 😂😂
Facts 😂
@@beatsbynes yeah man those days people were "omg what a beat, this is so unique , this is hard to replicate andrevolution to music XD
beautiful
X would be the lofi or best sad song artist 💜
It’s called omnisphere lol
It reminds me a little of “iamamiwhoami”
Super nicely explained my guy🙌
Appreciate it!
Nice
thank you!
Its really the pitch automation though
That's not what he's talking about my man
@@Sxcottie hes talking about why moonlight is perfect. Well, its the pitch animation that makes it perfect
@@WILLBEATSONYT no he's talking about why the music theory behind it is perfect
@@Sxcottie brother its not that deep
@@WILLBEATSONYT it is, this video and channel r both about music theory..
the reason why it's so good is omnisphere bruv. very basic progression, but the preset is really good and it's pitch bending.
If you change your 5 chord to a major7 it sounds even better imo
VI-V-I "unique"
its very easy to remake the song if you have omnisphere
So cool
asking for color code, that teal looks so nice
Go you: #3CB0B3
STOP LIGHT YE
The pitch bending sounds annoying... but the progression is good.
🤯🤯
What program is this?
Dunno how you ignore the pitch bending 😅
Whata? Very cool
What beat production software are you using?
🤯🤯🤯
💥
Is really a submediant into the 5-1 cadence really what makes this song "perfect"?
The only thing this is missing from using the most common chord progression in western pop music is the sub dominant, the 4.
How come your melodies doesnt always sound like what you trying to remake,
no bro its the sound selection
woooAUuuuAU
Isn't the 5th meant to be the dominant chord?
How come they don’t use inversions?
John Cunningham is 🐐
What's the plugin for the piano? Sounds nice
then add "moonlightuhh moonlightuhh shawty gaisueuehajakakalightuh"
Can you add intervals alongside the number note in the scale?
Can you explain an arca or sophie song? :]
It's all about the sound selection, not sure it's about the chords
Agree
was the producer high
how about we credit the producer and not x
VII is the same as V because its a seventh without fundamental.
Actually its a 1-7-2 progression their is evidence in that its an F minor key
Bro? FAC is F major 🤦🏻♂️
Can someone clarify what he means by 4th 5th and 6th. I’m learning.
Ya dude, they drew midi notes, opened massive, put a pitch bend on the synth and there you go. 99% of producers don't know musical theory.
probably but isnt it cool that you now know this progression works? like you can use it if you ever get stuck
@@theRedBowMusic it's pop music. Every song uses the same progressions for 100s of years. It's not a mystery.
But isnt 5 supposed to use g# in a minor?
KSHMR - Secrets
The automation blows me off
What did you use for this video?
how ?
I think it's about Debussy...
i thought it was going 4-5-6
What’s the synth or sound preset used though? It really sounds niiice.
basically how all music works 😂
Me who don't have any idea what's he talking about 👁️👄👁️
