& yes the Reijks museum is a must. The Night-Watch is amazing as is the amount of time Rembrandt put into it. Heineken Museum was fun too. & everyone's so beautiful there! The ladies! OMGosh! I stayed in The Amstel Hotel twice which was just the best. Especially the Royal Suite. I didn't pay that time but did pay for a junior suite the time after. Had great times on those occasions but just as good a time camping in Flegenboss (sorry if misspelt) Campsite. Really beautiful campsite situated in these woods. Nice n mellow. Love your city guys

I like Paradox coffee shop on Bloomwaardstraat & their Manala Cream but will pass by Greenhouse next time. Although it's been many years since I've been to the Dam & I rarely smoke nowadays. Really weird cause where I stopped smoking, now when I do, it really spins my head out & kinda makes me feel prang & anxious. Guess I'd be ok with a nice Indica cause last time I smoked once the nasty prang feeling in my head had gone I had the lush nice warm body stoned. Keep up the good work Strain Hunters. Peace & Love

The worst coffee shop I have been to was "The Green House" with my wife and 89 year old father in law. I walked in and said "I need a toilet for my father, a joint for me and a coffee for the three of us." I pointed my father in law towards the toilet. Sat down and started my coffee. Then my father in law came back and said that there was no toilet roll. I asked the lady behind the counter "could he have some loo roll", she said "yes" handed him some roll and off my father in law went. Returning 5 minutes later with the roll and sitting with us.
5 Minutes later the Budtender comes up to me and starts shouting "Fxxk" at me and my family. Repeating it over and over and aiming it at me. I very nearly lost my temper. Eventually building up the courage to ask "What's your problem, pal?" at which point he said in very good English "He has shit downstairs where you cannot shit" I said "That's the toilet and you gave him the toilet paper". More expletives came out and then he said the words "Thats a Urinal, hes Shit in." I was mortified in the dark light, my father in law had crapped in the Urinal.
Now I know that a 89 year old man can mess up but this was a big one for my father in law bill and I will gladly clean up after him. But does that Bud Tender know that my father in law lost a brother fighting in Holland. He doesn't want to come back again after the guys attitude. Maybe thats how the elderly are dealt with in Holland but not in England.
I left the poo with him. My father in law said it was one of the best he has ever done, which must be bad as I've seen his poo, most mornings although still have not swore at him once. Still I get to laugh at the "Green room" poo story with him. Genuinely I would have moved it had he not been so rude.
This happened 6 months ago but still makes me mad. It was the green house away from the centre and red light district. Im sure the other is great but we spent 2000 euro in Amsterdam in 7 days and one rude bud waiter acted like a thug and upset a old man, who lost a brother in Holland. He's 90 this year but wont go abroad again. hes to frail.
How does that reflect on the coffee shop? It's your fault for bringing a clearly frail and unstable old man into the establishment. Good on the bud tender for going mental I would've done too, old guy or not that's unacceptable behaviour and you should've accepted the abuse and cleaned it up like any responsible adult would and should.
Having Miley Cyrus in your shop is NOT a good look.
I feel sorry for all these people.
