Wow Miriam. This video hits differently for me than the other videos. In this video, I could feel more of the villagers character and personality. I felt more passion being displayed with these entries. Having watched all categories, this one really touched me the most. I'm blown away with what I've seen here today. Every single village since the very first video looks amazing to me, but I really enjoyed the entries in this video the most. There is so much feeling in each of the villages shown in this video. Congratulations to everyone that participated in the entire contest. I've seen so many beautiful villages and some great talent. It's been an amazing journey. I'm proud to have been a part of it all. Oh and I loved #3 overall, 12 and 16 were great 18's & 29;s water scenes were superb, #23 great waterfall! The circus and zoo themes were fun to look at! I want to see #36's WHOLE village. I loved the jungle cruise portion of it! Everyone has inspired me.

This also challenges you to start thinking for new designs/ideas for next year cause I am sure that many people are looking forward to see this and to also get new ideas to recreate. I am so glad to come across your channel. This year was the first time I actually put something together with a few houses and pieces my brother gave me. Even though I did not always follow your tutorials, you gave me the inspiration. I actually surprised myself with the results. Thank you so much because I had so much fun putting my little village together. Already thinking of additions I want to built next year,
This is my first year with Xmas villages. I made a complete mess. I didn’t take the one minute to place the styrofoam back into the lemax box, now I have a sea of styrofoam with no idea what box to use. Then I can’t reach some of the animated pieces cause they are at the center of the five tables I used. I made a lot of mistakes. I should’ve plugged in all the adaptors when I had the chance. But still I love it and so does lexy(my six yr old granddaughter )
Hi Miriam, I know you have to be so proud aftering seeing these videos. There are some amazing builds. So impressed with all the talent. Lots of inspiration to be had. What an incredible journey this has been for you and all of us. This channel has grown so much and is filled with such love and creativity. Can't wait to see what the new year holds. Looking forward to seeing you final few videos for the year. Just make sure you're giving yourself plenty of down time. You most definitively deserve it. Dewan too. I truly am so proud of everyone. There are soooo many that I absolutely love but I am going to reserve my comments so I don’t potentially bias the judges. I love that even though the channel is growing so much, it still feels like a big family. Thank you so much! I took almost all of today off and had a great time relaxing and eating. 😂🤣. I made lots of yummy Christmas cookies with the kids.
I used to work for a Dept. 56 gift shop. I thought I was pretty good at assembling and accessorizing my villages. But Miriam's attention to detail puts me to shame! Cutting out the foam to bury the cords is something I will try. I generally just run them behind the houses and cover them with snow. I have never really mastered "Water" either. So I will be studying your videos to help me in that area. I also like your abundant use of florals and greenery!
Hello Karen, Trains are such a personal preference but I will say this. I have an HO scale train and I think it is entirely too small for my village. The next train I but will probably be an O scale.

I wrap my pieces with lots and lots of newspaper and plastic wrap. I think I have 4 tubs now to fit everything.
I store my large pieces on shelves in my closet. If there is snow or ground cover on it, I cover it with brown packing paper.
