Kränzle is a well known brand for professionals in NL, we sell these in our shops, basically our top tier powerwashers. German brand, still made in Germany by a family owned business. A couple of quick tips: If you run it on an extension cable, I suggest a 2.5mm one, with long extensions there will be loss of power which means more current. There is a microswitch next to the head of the motor, this one will burn through on high current spikes. Most of the times the big capacitor will go first though. Also after using the power washer make sure to close the water source and empty the pump head by engaging the pistol until no more water comes out of it. In NL we have pretty hard water which means limescale on the pump rivets. A common one we see in our shop are power washers stored away in the winter with water in the housing, then spring comes and we get them in with those rivets stuck even one stuck out of the 6 will make the machine not build nough pressure. Easy fix though, also explained in the manual btw! Last one would be dirt in the lances, another easy fix with just a paperclip and some pressured air will do the trick to get them working again. The dirt blaster lance inside is made of ceramic, so do mind not letting it bounce on the streets too much 😄 All and all as you said these machines last a lifetime if handeled the correct way. Oh and the rubber hose is made with steel inside Enjoy your Kränzle!

Good choice! My Kärcher failed due to rotten plunger. The Kränzle works fine even after sitting around for years without use. If I need it, it will be there.
This follows a philosophy of mine, the more something is advertised the less likely it is that you need it. To a degree, utility and quality is inversely proportional to the amount of advertising. It’s telling that Makita isn’t a subsidiary of some other company.
I have a kranzle k7 I have had it for over 7yrs and use it for my moble valeting business and I have never had a trouble with it only one thing to remember is if your using and extension lead make sure it's unpeeled fully or you can blow the compasita like I did on mine but kranzle are high quality and every part is replaceable , You won't have any troubles.
I got a very old l kranzle a couple of years ago. I need to make a trolley as it does not have any wheels and it's very heavy. I stripped it down to get it working again. I can tell you the quality is amazing the pump head is totally brass and the pistons are ceramic coated so they don't overheat. I'm still working on it. I think it needs new swash plate ball bearings and a motor Bearing. New seal kit. And maybe new valve's. One thing to make sure is to run it for a few seconds with the water not connected to stop it freezing in winter.
Love my 1152 TST and wouldn‘t want to go back to Kärcher. Please bleed the pump and hose before turnong it on! After you plug in your garden hose, press the trigger until no more air and hissing comes out and you get a continuous stream of water. From how long the motor ran on first power on I could already hear, that there was air in the pump and hose. It should be only like 0.5 sec after power on until the total stop (that‘s what „ts“ in the „tst“ stands for) stops the motor if the trigger is released. Btw: The hose should IMHO be 15 m long on the TST (with hose reel) model and 10 m on the TS (w/o reel).
A company that still provides a parts breakdown is hard to find anymore! Like you dean I appreciate the same thing. I would say for the price it's worth it.
Nilfisk, Husqvarna and Stihl are all they same machine effectively. I've got a and Nilfisk P150 and it must have done many 100's of hrs over the years. I've had to do a few repairs, switch, capacitor and recently the unloader valve but it's been an excellent buy! Good buy tho the kranzle👍
These are great machines, they just feel like quality when you pick them up. I recetly got a Kränzle x10/140TST. It is basically the same as the 1152TST but you dont have to lay it down to use.
Maybe paste a note on it to only use it lying down. If you loan it to family or your wife wants to use it, that will remind them. If it's approved by Dean, it's a fantastic machine. I bet it would do a nice job on my sneakers as well.
That big heavy part of the Lance you have their Dean is called a turbo nozzle that is one full brass piece just with a plastic cover over it what you have there now Dean to be honest with you is the best of the best
Ever heard of a car wash franchise called blue elephant, Belgium or French company, worked for them between 99-2002. Cat pumps, not CAT, 900rpm motors and all our regulators belonged to Kränzle. Worked with hot water and 100 bar almost 24/7, and we did try to use a different brand but none was as good as Kränzle. Solid stuff, good choice.
Really want one of these for myself. I have a Kärcher that I bought years ago for 220€ in the hardware store. Honestly its a pile of crap, shite quality on everything! Its reasonably powerful with the turbo nozzle but I hate everything about it because its essentially a 50€ Parkside machine that I overpaid for. I opened it up to see what it was like inside and yeah its a 50€ Parkside machine inside: Brushed Motor, gearbox, plastic pump head. No parts available too. Kränzle on the other hand is a different animal. Massive quality induction motor that will last forever, rebuildable all metal pump head, quality hose and attachments. AVOID Kärcher, its a cheap outsourced brand these days. We have their vacuum cleaners at work and I have a Nilfisk at home. The Nilfisk is 2x as quiet and 2x the quality everywhwere.
They reduced quality of the lower end machines, unless u are getting the 1500€ ones, u are essentially buying parkside einhell quality for a premium price
Stihl and Nilfisk is the same machines with different colours in many cases. Bought a Nilfisk when my Stihl broke because i could use all my attachements still
If you want even more dirt-removal power from a flat nozzle, try the Kränzle 12393-M20042 Messerdüse (knife nozzle). I use that thing more than the original flat combi nozzle on heavily greenish weathered concrete and can often times avoid having to switch to the dirt blaster rotating nozzle. There‘s also several extra short lances available, if you ever have to work in tighter spaces.
@@deandohertygreaser I‘d be a little cautious with the M20042 nozzle on my car. Maybe better use the „softer“ Vario-Jet (41155) 1/4“ inside-thread directly on the short D12 to 1/4“ outside-thread adapter (13475)? This combination is pretty short as well and doesn‘t have that hard cutting water stream. The M20042 really hurts on skin even at 20-30 cm distance, which is why I only use it on stone/concrete surfaces. The Vario-Jet is like your flat stream vario lance plus low-pressure mode for applying chemicals when you pull the nozzle body forward.
What am I missing here, can you not get a petrol washer more powerful for less than half the price? Loving the channel greaser 👍 wishing you all the best 👍
Yes, but it would be nowhere near the same quality. Besides I do not want a petrol washer. Electric suits me better amd 130bar pressure is more than enough
Haven't seen this brand yet here in Canada. Is there a water drain on the pump, to empty it out completely before storing it in cold weather? burst pumps and fittings from freezing is the number one killer of pressure washers here and in the northern USA when the washer freezes in storage over winter. If you can get all the water out, or store it inside a warm part of the house, no issue. Lot of guys here undo all visible fittings and shake it out, but sometimes there are hidden fittings under the covers with water behind them. If so, end of device the first night at -25 deg C. I liked the review! Cheers.
