Thank you! It’s really grown on me this year. The repotting , trunk chop clean ups and wiring have made quite an impact in a short space of time. Next year we should see some good progression to the canopy!
Big but small enough to hide still Hopefully 🤞🏼 Unlike the pros I just have ordinary liquid sealant but it’s all in the application :D good results in all.
@@nillysbonsai9636 I do not use what the pros use. I use lipstick. A natural wax women use on their lips. Works great for me. Now there are many colors out their and you can find one to match the color of the bark and then the wound will match the trunk. I use it on my roses also and the color lasts all winter long and into the spring. Just do not use the brush on. That does not work. Use the tube. Cheap and you can probably get it at a dollar tree store. My sister gets them for me at garage sales cheap.
Cheers Tom, I have a tiny garden so tried to fill all the usable spaces that sedum thrived under the bench’s! The Bees 🐝 love it when it flowers i often see them checking the flower before they’re even fully open.
Thank you for the comment Richard, I had a look at your suggestion. Although a beauty of a tree. I see the similarities in the foliage colour I don’t think it’s what’s Iv got.
Hi Adam, yes just a chopped Sphagnum moss I buy it cheap from a local nursery. I thinks it’s helped a lot with watering and retention on hot days, also encouraging new roots around the base. Some of my trees had a serve repot this year. I’m sure the moss aided there recovery somewhat!
Single flush is correct but that does not describe the trees ability to produce buds back from the growing tips. These are buds formed to break in spring next year. I’m happy to stand corrected but to my knowledge back budding can be achieved on almost any species of tree maturity may play a part in the difficulty in doing so. This can be achieved in Jwp By pinching/pruning candles and wiring out to allow light further in. And to add to the controversy mine has produce the odd sprig of second flush off growth this year after a heavy flowering in spring not the normal I know!
Forest is looking mint man! Can’t believe the progress since that day it came out the tote!

That hornbeam forest is a belter.
Thank you, it’s certainly grown on me this year. I think it’s a decent foundation to build off of. Next season should be fun working on this one 🌱
How can you even pick a favourite… I think I would have to say the Forest and the Mini Juniper ❤
Good choices :D They all have a favourite moment through the year hence not being able to cut the collection down further yet :D
Nice tour . Some great trees there.
Thank you and thanks for stopping by! Recently uploaded a new tour/update video 🌱
Great tour of your fantastic looking trees.
Thank you Tom! Good to hear from you, I hope all is well :)
Big chop, well sealed.

Mystery Juniper could be an Arizona cypress?

excellent- please do your great voiceover explanations again (if you can/want to)
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you that’s very kind. I’m hoping to get a few in the usual style done as the year quiets down. Iv filmed plenty of bits! 🌱
Is that sphagnum moss on the top?

Jwp are single flush pines. They do not back bud.
