I might be being bias as Haney is one of my guys, but there is zero repercussions for going into a fight on peds, you get a slap on the wrist and allowed to continue your boxing career, why shouldn’t you be heavily punished! And it was the Thursday on fightweek Ryan talked about having a peds league a lot of strong evidence out there for the courts to look at. Very interesting how Alicia kept her power while benn and Joe Cordina lost their power 😅
I was surprised about Dixon-Harper. Rhiannon was so tentative and hesitant, particularly in those first 5/6 rounds. She seemed like she was overthinking it and second-guessing herself too much with the constant feinting and twitching. I think you’d have to put her underperformance and Terri’s punishment of that down to experience. Fair play to Harper though, the first UK 3-weight world champ in the female ranks is nothing to be sniffed at. Regardless of how good or bad she is in terms of levels, I think she’ll go down in history as one of the modern trailblazers who came in off the back of Katie Taylor and helped moving the women’s side of the sport forward. She’s featured on a lot of sizeable cards and events, plus given us a female classic vs Tasha Jonas. She seems like a really nice woman as well, almost too nice at times imo (hence the reoccurring confidence crises).
Been absent for the lives recently. I’m busy in the evenings these days but you’re vids and pod is always on in the van during work 🫡.
Appreciate that
