Thank you for all of your videos! It makes it a lot easier for someone interested in watchmaking. I'm 20 years old and was amazed as soon as I was shown what is inside a watch. I've been practicing and collecting for about 3 months now

I'm not being funny, but it's clear from this video, the way you talk and operate demonstrates that working on watches requires a highly systematic and methodical approach, with extreme care and a whole bunch of knowledge and experience. This is NOT for the '''whay-hey I've arrived!!" flash-hard coyboys. This is truly an example of extreme discipline. fair play.

Do you have a certification??? would you like to be treated by a doctor that dont have studies,,, ?
dont play imbecile. things in life are very serious, even a samll watch... thats cost 5.000 bucks is not for playing...around. Well if you dont have nothing to do in your stupied life you can destroy watches at home. but dont scam others, ITS CRIME and you are going to be SUITED ONE DAY:
Many ebay sellers lost many money due to this.
I only buy watches with profissional certificate, if they dont have it, I PRESUME ITS TRASH, TRASH HAS NO VALUE...OK? YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND THIS AND VERYBODY THATS ARE READING THIS.
SO STOP FEEDING IDIOTS AND CRIMINALS ! THESE VIDEOS ARE JUST FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT. ARE NOT MENT TO MAKE YOU A PRO.
YOU BUY A ROLEX WITH THAT COST 1.200 ITS CHEAP? NOOO,,, IF IT WAS SERVICED BY A CURIOUS GUY AND USE BY HIM , PROBABLY HAS MORE WEAR THAN IN ALL ITS LIFE IT SHOULD. AND PARTS FOR ROLEX ARE NO CHEAPPPP

It appears a better option is available for closing the barrel that is less damaging than using the hard surface of the tweezers. It looks as though micro scratches were introduced to the beautiful barrel surface after it was closed using tweezers.

Great video. Have serviced many similar but wouldn’t have put back the balance for cleaning. (Interesting) always cleaned balance seperately. But personal choices. To any aspiring watchmakers out there, remember it takes years to be able to work like this so be careful. Keep up the good work.

the problem is a watch like any machine or engine, need someone that know what is doing, he must have the knowledgment of how tighhgt is it, is it running smooth is bend, is twisted, hAve weAR ,,ETC
use the correct lube and in the rigth quantity, etd etc,,, and much more things.
you fail in this your timegraph is not going to be good with you... you dont have a straight an pure line, your wathch WASNT CORRECTLY SERVICED,,, KEEP WITH DEFECTS...DEECTS WILL ENSHORT WATHC LIFE.
SO IPREFER TO BUY A 50 YEAR WATHC that has been forgotten in a box, TO AN OLD LADY THAn BUY TO A SMART ASS IDIOT, THAT SAYS, WATHC IS RUNNING AND IN PERFECT CONDITION, I HAVE USED IT AND IST "working",
WORKING AND PERFECT - my ass__
      !
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE WATCHES MARK SERVICE IN THE TIMEGRPH, HE NEVER SHOWS, AND I MISS IT, CAUSE I WANNA SEE EVERYTHING !

That movement is unnecessarily beautiful. When you removed the dial and the Geneva Stripes and blued screws were revealed, I actually gasped a little. Sure the finishing on all the bits aren't as perfect as other movements, but no one will see this besides watchmakers. Gives me even more respect for them.

I am starting to learn about mechanical watches.
I bought old and cheap movements, to learn how to assemble and disassemble, to begin to understand the operation.

The old 3035 was still more robust. Rolex seems to honor efficiency over durability in their automatic works; they have one of the most efficient self-winding mechanisms anywhere, but the small central post which makes this possible causes it to be more susceptible to shock.

Perhaps you have answered this question before in one of your fantastic videos but here it goes, sometimes when you are reaching for a part in the watch it appears as if you are not grasping it with intent and this is why I like to ask you, are you working looking through a loupe or are you doing the work looking at the magnified camera screen? Just curious.
